Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in South Portland

A great place for my family and I. The place is spacious and beautiful. Beds were comfy and location put us exactly where we wanted to be.

Who knew that inside an assuming building is a massive, quirky and cute space? It’s also in the perfect location close to restaurants. The apartment has everything you need and the space to host friends or family. The host was responsive. As someone who has lived in Portland and in many historic homes, it’s very normal for even the best renovated places to have a couple of more rustic details (wear & tear). The previous review disgracing this place is by someone who clearly this was not a match (they should have stayed in a modern hotel). It’s obvious that the host has been incrementally restoring this place and putting their own sweat in to make it a great airbnb. I would definitely stay here again. No question.

It was everything Betty described. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen. Quiet neighborhood and everything you need close by. If I come again to Portland I would stay at Betty’s place. Thank you!! For having us.

This is my third time staying at this Airbnb and I hope to have many more! for a small space it has everything you need and you can't beat the location

Great little place. We parked our car and trailer right in front of the house, had takeout and a few groceries delivered (I think we used DoorDash or GrubHub), and got rested up for the next leg of our trip. Hyeri was super kind and responsive.

Catherine’s place was absolutely beautiful & perfect for a few days in Portland! We went to a concert at Thompson Point & we were able to walk everywhere! The apartment was SPOTLESS! We will definitely book with Catherine again!

Louis’s apartment is a gem—exactly as described, nestled in a historical neighborhood. The area is very quiet and peaceful with restaurants and shops nearby. It’s a great location with sites/attractions within 15 to 20 minutes of the property. The apartment itself is open and airy, with a warm mix of history and contemporary feel to it. We felt right at home, especially with such such a great host as Louis. He was very quick to respond and offer local suggestions. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. If we’re ever in the Portland area again, we will definitely stay at Louis‘s historical apartment.

Great location just a short drive into downtown. Also, we really enjoyed the local restaurants, ice cream stand, and coffee shop all within a few blocks of the place. The beds and coach are very comfortable, we would consider staying again upon our return. As other comments have mentioned, there is resident family above which I believe includes a younger child who can be heard running around a lot. This is an older building so I am guessing hardwood floors are throughout and that accentuated the noise.

We rented the house for a Happy occasion, our daughter’s wedding. The space was bright, open, clean and able to accommodate the activities and relaxed, feel that we were trying to achieve. The breezes off the waterway, three blocks down and around us was easily achieved by just opening a few windows. No air conditioning needed whatsoever though each room was well appointed with same. The third floor is a magical space, though we were unable to fully utilize due to the circular staircase. Our upstairs guests measured too tall and too broad to navigate easily. Laundry room, extra pillows, and so many towels available made it easy to be comfortable We will long remember this happy home as ours during the most special time of our daughter’s wedding. We hail from New York but lived in Portland (in Rudy’s place) for those five days. Grateful. We would recommend the space to anyone who asked and would come back again. Thank you

This is a very nice renovated barn. It is clean, well appointed with comfortable beds and nice outdoor sitting area. It is on a very busy road so you will hear road noise but it quiets down dramatically before 8 PM. The soaking tub is to die for. It is suitable for two people (for you romantics). The hosts do warn that filling it will deplete the hot water, but we found that a half full tub was sufficient.

We stayed at Kathleen’s charming place in and had a wonderful experience. The space had everything we needed and was also perfect for my husband and me to work remotely. I worked from the second bedroom with the daybed, while my husband set up downstairs. The location is within walking distance to everything, and Kathleen gave us some great local recommendations. We’d love to stay again!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

We stayed a few days at Michael's place and it was perfect for our family of 4. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the A/C units worked great. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs and it and the bathrooms were very clean. The neighborhood the house is in is very quiet and peaceful...and we LOVED that it was just 3/4 mile from the trail around Mackworth Island State Park. We would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a peaceful home in the Portland area.

Diana’s house was lovely and very comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful time exploring the area and being on the beach! Diana responded quickly whenever I had a question. I definitely stay there again. I highly recommend her house.

The host was very accommodating and responsive! The place was spotless clean and even left us a complimentary bottle of wine. Would 100% recommend staying here! Perfect size for 4 people

The condo was extremely clean and tidy. Location is perfect for shopping in Perkins Cove and walking the Marginal Way. Once again, another great visit!

This was a perfect location for enjoying being in the heart of Old Orchard Beach. You get live music down stairs, a few steps away from the beach, quick walk to downtown/pier. Totally worth it! The condo is beautiful and comfortable.

Great stay

Perfect location right in the middle of all the popular restaurants and shops. Very clean and more spacious than we expected. Complex was quite inside. We didn’t hear noise from the other condos. We were there on a Saturday night so we could hear some of the nearby bars and music but that was to be expected given the location.

This condo was the perfect base for exploring Portland—secure parking made it easy to come and go, and we were just steps from great restaurants and the waterfront. The space was bright, modern, and spotless, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home.

Beautiful, spacious and bright house, with everything you need to be comfortable and explore Portland. At one point we had a problem with the fire alarm and Allyson not only answered in minutes, but also told us how to fix the problem and left us extra batteries so it wouldn't happen again. Don't hesitate to stay at Allyson's, not only is it the ideal accommodation for a family, but Allyson was the best host. Thank you very much!

What a fantastic place to stay in Portland! Stephen's apartment is beautifully decorated, and is very well appointed. There was nothing that we needed while staying there! The apartment is so comfortable, was impeccably clean, and was the perfect home away from home. All the best restaurants, and some local favorites, are within walking distance. Lots of shopping and places to explore are also walkable. Stephen was an awesome host, he was very responsive, checked in to make sure we were happy and to see if we needed anything, and gave amazing recommendations for places to eat. We had such a wonderful time, and we look forward to coming back and staying here in the future. We highly recommend Stephen's place to stay!

We had a great stay at Tysons place. Its a perfect location, only like 5-10 minutes drive from Old Port. The home is clean and beautiful. Street parking was super easy. Always space right on the side of the home. Each room has its own A/C. Would definitely recommend staying at Tysons place!
