This double farmhouse dates from the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the barn doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. Such as a spacious sitting area with views of the West-Frisian Circular Dyke, a cooking island and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. There is a garden with a terrace. The sea is within cycling distance, where the quietest beaches of the Netherlands are located.

Our chalet is located in the beautiful quiet Waarland. What to do in Waarland: Vlinderado, indoor mini golf, boat rental via HappyWale, outdoor swimming pool Waarland. Within a 25-minute drive, you can reach the beach of Callantsoog or the beautiful dune area in Schoorl. The beautiful cities of Alkmaar and Schagen (15 minutes drive) are also worth visiting. Vakantierijk Waarland is renovating the park. Our chalet is located on the edge of the campsite, so you will have little trouble with it.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Chalet in Hensbroek, on the edge of a quiet park. On both sides of the chalet is a terrace, so you can enjoy the sun all day. Chalet is renovated, refurbished and 50 m2 in size. Nearby is Hensbroekermeer, where you can swim in the summer. There is a tennis court in the holiday park that can be used free of charge. Netflix, WiFi and linens are included in the price. There is a Nespresso coffee machine. The only way to reach the chalet is by car because public transportation is limited

With great enthusiasm, we have renovated our old mansion and restored it to its original state. On the bell floor, we have created an apartment that we now rent out. The house is located in a lively neighborhood, a 5-minute walk to the city center and a 4-minute walk to the train station, from where you can reach Amsterdam Centraal in 34 minutes. The apartment has been recently and carefully renovated and equipped with all comforts, entirely for private use with balcony.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
