Nearby highlights include the Manderscheid Castles, the Daun Maars, the Holzmaar, the Mehrfelder & Pulver Maars, the Eifelsteig, the Lieserpfad & the new castle climbing trail.

Enjoy the original flair in the lovingly restored half-timbered house. Great location with sun terrace at the Ahrquelle, lake and various restaurants. Jakobsweg, Eifelsteig and Ahrradweg cross here. You'll have the entire upper part of the house to yourselves! The apartment is not lockable as it is an emergency exit. Almost all guests are extremely satisfied! Not suitable for allergy sufferers, people with physical limitations and acoustic sensitivity (bells). Looking forward to seeing you soon!

You can hike and bike here wonderfully. The Meulenwald is a continuous forest area of the southern Eifel and extends to Trier, the oldest city in Germany with many Roman relics, about 40 km away. The Mears of the Volcanic Eifel are also only about 40 km away and a worthwhile destination for a day trip.
