Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in St. Joseph County

This was the perfect little house and being dog friendly was a huge bonus! All the amenities to feel right at home were provided. Also, Kerri is an amazing host. She checked in with us periodically to make sure we had all we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

I give Knute's Pad on Rockne the highest praise. Our family came for a week of summer camps at Notre Dame & had a great time. The bunk room is great for a bunch of kids to have a hang out space of their own, the dining table was big enough for a good game of monopoly & family dinners for 6+. With a fully functioning kitchen we were able to have big breakfasts & also stayed in for dinner multiple nights. Front & back screen doors made it easy for our kids to play & ride their scooters & we could hear & see them from inside. Knute's Pad is in a quiet, residential area just 5 minutes from Notre Dame campus but there's also lots to do near by including downtown dining, the Zoo (+ splash pad), a big park with 3 playgrounds & a splash pad a couple blocks away, New Buffalo beach (50 min away), & more in nearby Nile & Granger. The Hosts were extremely responsive to every one of our questions/asks & went above & beyond to make our stay extra fun for our kids.

Easy to find, cozy and my family enjoy the stay!

Stayed for a long weekend while attending my college reunion. There were four of us, so the house was great, with four bedrooms (and beds to spare in the basement!) and two bathrooms. The living room was comfy and gave us a nice space to chat, drink wine and catch up!

The Zen House was a great retreat for our baseball tournament weekend - plenty of space, great amenities, and a much better experience than a hotel. The house felt intentionally designed for relaxation. The bedroom setup worked great, and we took advantage of the nearby park for some pregame hitting practice. We appreciated how the space could be closed off for privacy at night, and filled with sunlight during the day. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we’re already looking forward to coming back for a football weekend!

We absolutely loved this place. It was pristine, well decorated, and very cozy. The beds were high quality and the pillows were feathery soft. Beautiful inside and out. We appreciated the privacy and natural surroundings. The hosts were friendly and great communicators. We have put this on our list to come back to every year.

This was a great location for 8 guys on a golf trip. The house sets up perfectly for eating, relaxing, sleeping and the 4 baths/showers were furnished with great quality towels (unlike many rentals). Brandon also shipped a left-behind package. A worthy return destination. Thank you!

Kevin is indeed a Superhost! His home is comfortable, tastefully decorated, well equipped and absolutely spotless. The back yard had barefoot grass with the occasional deer grazing through. So peaceful and quiet but close enough to shopping and dining. Kevin was so kind as to have snacks and breakfast for us due to our late arrival. A wonderful bottle of wine and a thoughtful message card was also there to welcome us. His home is beautiful and the furniture and bed was so comfortable. The linens and towels were crisp and fresh. Even the smallest detail was not overlooked. We did not find one item that needed attention. We had a great stay and will be back if it is available.

We had a terrific visit here. The space is little bigger than we expected, with a large, eat-in kitchen and a generous main room. The kitchen included all we needed to cook at home. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and comfy. The owners were both wonderful hosts: very welcoming, clear with directions, and responsive. The small bowl of snacks and hot chocolate on the kitchen table was a nice touch. We are already hoping to book again in the future.

Great place in south bend! Right on the river so very peaceful area with parks in walking distance. I stayed there for a wedding at Notre Dame and it worked perfectly- super close to all the events and very easy to get in and out of.

The spot is very nice. Remember to pull the small chain on the wooden fence on the left side of the home. Google Maps sent me to an alley, not the street in front of the house. I arrived late and couldn't figure out where to enter. Someone came out of the house and explained to me how to locate the door. This is a nicely finished basement with a small living room, a larger kitchen, a dining area, and a large bedroom. I used the television in both the living room and the bedroom. Easy to access. Brought my dog. He did well. Vida met me on the second day I stayed. Extremely nice.

Absolutely loved this place! It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—the bed and linens felt luxurious. The location and price were perfect. My only minor disappointment was that the coffee pot was located in the lobby, so I couldn’t enjoy a quiet cup first thing in the morning without having to get fully ready. Still, a fantastic stay overall!

Met expectations in every way. Clean, well maintained condo. Great location with several restaurants within walking distance, and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Beach gear was provided. Well stocked kitchen amenities and board games. Host responded quickly to all emails. Very well run. Easy all the way around.

This was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. If there is an award for best kep Airbnb ...Sharon should receive it. Clean, beautifully decorated, just the right amount of amenities., quiet. We felt at home the moment we walked in. Highly recommend

Great place for New Buffalo. Close to the downtown. Place is spacious, good outdoor seating, pool is really nice.

Really enjoyed our stay. Melanie was responsive and checked in on us to see how are stay was going and if we needed anything. She explained everything so well beforehand that we didn’t need any help. She was a fantastic host and the place was great. Definitely recommend and would go back!

Stayed here for ND graduation weekend. 2 blocks from my son’s apartment and walkable to campus. Katie responds almost immediately to everything. The Kuerig wasn’t working and she had a new one delivered within hours (to our complete surprise). She allowed us to check in early and this apartment is so well maintained. We were very impressed. Would highly recommend of anything related to Notre Dame.

The hosts were beyond helpful and very quick to respond to questions. All the instructions were clear and concise and they were very accommodating to our flexible check-in time. The location is not only very comforting, but has private beach access which made it so much better. If you have small kids this is definitely the place for them to enjoy. I 100% recommend this place, and we will definitely be visiting again!
