Sleeps 4. 1 queen bed on the main level & 2 single beds in the loft (ladder access only) Screened in porch with BBQ ( new in 2024) And a deck in front of the porch with more seating. Our family friendly lake front cottage is located 40km east of SSM in the town of ECHO BAY, ON the ideal space to escape and relax at. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath with open concept living areas. Enjoy wonderful views of the lake and mountains from the deck. Full access to private waterfront yard with a beachy area, fire pit and private dock. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are a must. Bring life jackets for water play and worms for fishing. Many trails for ATVs out your back door.

Come experience a relaxing getaway with family and friends! You can swim off the dock, great fishing, large yard for outdoor games and bonfires! You will have access to the entire camp, including all kitchen items, canoe, and both indoor and outdoor games. Three kayaks available with life jackets so you can tour the beautiful area. Like many other cottages, our water is lake fed so guests will need to bring bottled water. Fur babies welcome! Ensure they stay in the yard and watched.

A charming pine cottage right on Lake Huron. Located in an area of fascinating history and enjoyment on the water. Fabulous kayak destinations right outside the door. Have breakfast on the dock or at your private deck table with seating for six. Plenty of space at the dock to tie up your watercraft with boat launching right next door at Kensington Point Marina. The cottage water is fully filtered through an Ultra Violet light source which makes it 100% pure and drinkable out of the tap.

Into more play then, hiking,biking,boating,kayaking,fishing,swimming, SUP or just plain relaxing are right out the back door.

Birch Banks - Waterfront Family Cottage

When we decided to buy a cottage, we wanted something that brought us closer to nature, but didn’t want a house on the water. It had to have some rustic elements to it. With its vaulted knotty pine ceilings and walls, and windows looking out at the lake, we instantly fell in love. It doesn’t matter if it’s high summer floating on the lake, or Fall with the beautiful colours, it’s just a special place to be.
