1860's Traditional Coastguard Cottage

This 1860 Georgian four bedroom period holiday home accommodates up to 8 guests in a home from home atmosphere with lots of creature comforts provided for a really enjoyable holiday or break. Sorry no pets allowed at the property. Our local beach is a merely a 10 min walk through the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. The walk to the River Rother is less than 5 minutes walk and is perfect for crab fishing. Please note that the actual postcode is in incorrect on some satellite maps and is TN31 7TS.

Come and stay in this garden paradise on the edge of a pretty East Sussex village, with fantastic food (breakfast included) and lovely scenery. Sleeps 2-4. We're in the same village as Great Dixter, and 20 mins from Sissinghurst, Pashley Manor and Batemans. It's 15 mins to the hilltop town of Rye, and 20 mins to Camber Sands and Winchelsea beaches too - both wonderful places for a stroll, especially as the sun is setting. There are fabulous walks right from our door, too.
