I stayed at 3 different Airbnb’s while in town for a few weeks and this was by far the best one. Felt like home, had absolutely everything I needed. Very comfortable. Super nice neighbors. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is located in a very quiet neighborhood, which made it easy to get a good rest. Inside, everything was well-equipped — perfect for both business trips (with a computer monitor available) and longer stays (with all the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials). I’d be happy to stay here again!

Great location in a beautiful neighborhood, with easy access to wherever you need to go in the valley. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Wifi was fast, the AC was perfect during a heat wave. There was a convenient closet and drawers that were perfect for unloading my suitcases, along with an adjustable desk near plenty of power for getting work done. The hosts were responsive and helpful, as well! I will likely try to stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

Close to perfection! The place is spacious, sparkling clean, the bed is very comfortable, plenty of cookware and appliances, good check-in & usage instructions... The price was very reasonable for a full apartment with so many amenities. Located in a quiet neighborhood yet still decently close to the various shops & businesses on California Ave. and Middlefield Rd. (5 min drive / 25 min walk). At some point, I reached out to Angela about a very minor dishwasher-related issue. She was extremely responsive about it, and she managed to have someone come and fix it on the *very next day*. Amazing experience. The only thing worth noting is that some items are slightly on the older side (e.g the fridge is a bit loud, some pieces of furniture are not cosmetically perfect...), but everything is perfectly clean and works nicely. In short - expect a "standard" apartment, very clean, very comfortable, with tons of amenities, and managed by a wonderful host, all for a reasonable price!

Great place right on Castro street - which is full of restaurants and little games for kids. The apartment was clean, spacious and well maintained with a great kitchen and lounge. We were a little weary as people had complained about the noise but it didn’t bother us. The host was responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything or had questions. It was a little pricey but I think everything around this area was as well.

Adorable place with a stunning view. So relaxing. Bed was super comfy. The deck was the most perfect place to sit and relax, listen to the ocean. I want to spend every weekend here! So worth it. One of my favorite stays so far for sure.

Book this home for my boyfriend and I while we were visiting family and it was great! The hosts were very friendly and were very helpful as well. Would definitely book a stay here again next time we visit SJ!

Well lite, Door entrance, easy access along with detailed, easy to follow instructions for entering. Comfortable, safe surroundings- Unit is comfortable, bathroom super clean- comfortable bed. This is my second visit and host as responsive as the first visit. Thank you, Linda

I stay here for two nights and with good sleep. The location is peaceful and very convenient to downtown San Mateo where are plenty of restaurants and bars. Also it’s very easy to access the Caltrain station which is a good solution to transport to SFO downtown or South Bay Area.

Gorgeous, historic space for a great price. Close enough to San Francisco to do everything we wanted to do but far enough away for a quieter stay. We enjoyed Lake Merritt and the walk ability of the neighborhood. Everything was as advertised. We loved our visit and would stay again!

Sabine was a remarkable host! Her Airbnb is all it says to be! She is extremely reachable and easy to communicate with . I stayed at her apartment on a work trip; being away from home for a long period of time is always difficult, but nevertheless I felt super comfortable in her clean and cozy apartment. Looking forward to staying here again! Thank you!

Yeshi's home is a museum of colorful artwork from her travels around the world. Wonderful to be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves.

My husband and I stayed for about 10 days. Quiet neighborhood. Rick's place was clean and cozy. When I needed to contact Rick, he was available to answer my questions right away. He was responsive and pleasant. Accessing directly from the parking lot (covered, assined space) to the apartment was very easy and quick. I would stay here again.

I am so grateful for my stay in Dylan And Alex's place! It was clean, safe, quiet, easy to check in, and easy to check out. I was able to walk everywhere - grocery, restaurants, and all types of stores within walking distance. Dylan and Alex are so friendly and proactive to be helpful. We loved our stay at Jan’s place in Berkeley. The space was great for our trip. We absolutely loved the deck and hot-tub. We spent most evenings sitting out there for hours! You also can’t beat the views of the bay! Overall, such a wonderful stay, we would for sure go back and recommend to all our friends and family.

The location and space was perfect for our needs! Clean, and larger than we expected from the photos. We especially enjoyed the hot tub/gazebo and the balcony.

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the apartment was large and lovely with hardwood floors and thoughtful decor. It was nice to have a covered parking spot so close to the apartment, and I loved the little lounge seat in the bedroom. The closets were very roomy with big mirrors and there were lots of comfy blankets and towels and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper for guests. The bathroom had two sinks and lots of drawers and cabinets. The area was quiet and safe and the neighbors were friendly. I especially loved the water features on the grounds, and the patio had a perfect view of the fountains and beautiful redwood trees. The hosts were great and answered the few questions I had. It was very peaceful and I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)
