Lakefront Chalet w/Pontoon

RyanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a party of eight adults and three dogs, and the Chalet, as advertised, was lovely. spacious, and the hosts were very accommodating. The Chalet has several areas, including the dining room and great room, where all of us could congregate together. We used the grill, fire, pit, and electric pontoon boat nearly every day, and all were nice amenities. We were also able to dine at the Rustic Pines Pub, Black Bear Bar, and Norwood Pines Supper Club, all of which are within 10-15 minutes of the Chalet and provided for convenient, fun evenings out for our group. It was an enjoyable, easy vacation and we intend to visit again. Thank you, Eric & Genevieve!

Classic Cottage on Mercer Lake

What an amazing cabin! It felt like home away from home with a great view of the lake! We loved kayaking all over the lake and playing games in the evening! A great place to relax and get away from it all! Cannot wait to come back!

Paradise Point Secluded Private Lake Retreat+Sauna

JoelRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

The Nest on Bird Lake

We very much enjoyed our stay! The lake is beautiful. Our group enjoyed kayaking and spending time around the fire. The cabin is well stocked and very comfortable for 6 people. Jessie is very responsive and gave us tips about our trip up to the cabin. We even heard and saw the loons on the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time on a lake!

Birch Ridge Rentals

This was the second stay, and it was just as lovely as the first time, perhaps even more so than the first visit! There were some little appreciated changes: a dedicated device for music, another very happy plant, and wild turkeys mingling with the deer at the feeder. The aurora borealis came out to play with pinks and greens. A wolf made a cameo appearance in the greater neighborhood on one of the more traveled roads. There was the feeling of having traveled back to simpler times , but with all the modern conveniences. Our hosts were phenomenal with listening, and suggestions. One suggestion in particular, was quite a surprise. A mention was made about times past with the wooden shuffle boards, sawdust for sliding the puck, and happy hours playing. Our hosts found somewhere not so far that still had the game, and it was heartwarming to play again! All in all, it was a magical, relaxing stay. The experience will likely to lead to another.

3 BR l Lakefront Cabin l

What an amazing place to stay! If you want to feel remote and secluded but close to restaurants, trails, and nature, this is the place. The home felt modern and upscale and did not have a typical old dark woodsy feel like many cabins up north. This was such a wonderful place and lives up to its name and to the description. Anthony was such a great host and was always kind and responsive with us. It was clear our hosts had thought of every detail, and were intent on delivering a great experience. We simply lacked for nothing. We highly recommend anyone wanting to stay at a cozy contemporary cottage to relax and unwind, and take in the views, this is the place. We will be back!
