Beautiful place, enjoyed the greenery, the birds (the two woodpeckers in the garden that flew in and out) and the tranquility. Calm park, you can hear people, but it still feels very private. We had beautiful weather, which also contributed to a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

a super nice location, you really feel at home. we were lucky that it was really super nice weather and could enjoy the large garden. Maarten is a friendly man and answers any questions you ask. we would go back there in no time.

We really enjoyed our stay in Willem's cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with a spacious garden. All amenities have been thought of. We were with our toddler (2.5) and baby (4 months) and found the cottage well equipped for this. The toddler could play on the trampoline all day and there were plenty of toys available. The cottage is also well insulated and can be cooled well. The park was neat and very quiet (in the low season, June). We were regularly the only ones in the pool, even in good weather. The playground was spacious and had a lot of different playground equipment. For shopping and cafes, you can drive to Ommen within 10 minutes. There are several fun activities to do, a visit to the mill was the highlight of the holiday for our toddler. From the cottage you can walk right into the woods. You can feel the peace and nature. We can recommend this cottage to everyone!

A wonderful place! Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, thanks to the playground and the swimming pool a Valhalla for children. The cottage is equipped with all comforts, spacious bedrooms, wonderful kitchen and very nice garden. We were here in the spring, but can totally imagine that it is enjoyable every season. We had a super nice weekend with the family at Alice's. The place is super nice and nicely decorated. We didn't miss anything. The environment is great and it was very quiet. Communication with Alice was also problem-free. We will be happy to come back.

The location is amazing. Right on the water, in the middle of a nature reserve the Weerribben. Really quiet. Entering the house you feel like you take a step down in time. The house is complete with washing machine, dryer, large fridge etc

We had two beautiful days at the house. It is quiet. There are also two supermarkets in the village. There is a lot to do in the region. But the house also invites you to linger. Both saunas were really great. We'll be sure to recommend

What an amazing place! So beautiful in the middle of nature and the house is really spacious enough for 6 people. Upon arrival, a high chair and camping bed were ready. We had brought a box with us for outside because of the decking, which is a meter higher than the ground around it. A nice bike ride and you are in Ommen. We enjoyed it!

We were at the property with a group. Everything was as described and looked like on the pictures. The city was quick to reach by bike or car. The location is as described in a commercial area, but was good for us as we didn't necessarily have to pay attention to the volume, unlike in inhabited areas. On our last day, however, there was a slight odor load due to any handled goods, but the rest of the time there were no problems. Due to the large pool, the humidity has sometimes been relatively high in the house, so one or two more windows would have been quite good to open. Otherwise, everything is fine.

Best location in Giethoorn, next to the famous waterway and walking way. Many restaurants and shops, as well as the museum, are just next door. The chalet offers 2 bedrooms and all necessary amenities with separate toilet and separate shower with sink. The owner provides also bicycles which is convenient to go shopping to the PLUS shop which is 1.2 km away. An electric boat rental company is also on the premises, the perfect way to explore the extensive waterways of Giethoorn right from the chalet.

Such a cool and peaceful place

A great vacation resort and lovely house- perfect for our family of 5. We loved the outside patio on the canal. We were able to rent bikes right from the premise. Beautiful new construction, very quant house. Lovely stay

Beautiful cottage and place!

We were with 8 friends in the water resort and enjoyed the time very much! The house right on the water was perfect! The kitchen was well equipped and everything matched the description. Even with its own boat dock! We also enjoyed the sauna and then jumped into the water at the house :) The host contacted us via Whatapp and was always quickly available for questions. We were also proactively sent tips on things to do. A late check-out is available for a reasonable fee until 3 pm. All in all a very successful stay!

It is a very nice, very complete mobile home with plenty of space around it. A beautiful veranda and plenty of parking space. We had a dog with us. What was very thoughtful was that there were poop bags, a drinking bowl and a ground pin to put the dog on the grass on the leash! We were only there for 1 night but it was very good. Maybe plant another hedge on the 'street side'. Then you have a little more privacy. Otherwise, everything is fine!

Thanks again to Albert and Sandra for the beautiful days in their cozy apartment. We liked it very much, we were able to do three wonderful e-bike tours in the national park.

We stayed with 5 friends between the ages of 25 - 30 for a long weekend in this beautiful house. The house exactly matches the description and pictures, the two house owners were very kind and accommodating without being intrusive. They even provided us with eggs from their own chickens. The house is situated in a village with a small supermarket and a drugstore and a small "vending machine village shop", everything is within walking distance. By car, several larger villages, with a variety of different restaurants, sights and various activities, can be reached in less than half an hour. Our goal was to have a nice time with our friends and our expectations were more than met, we highly recommend the place to anyone! Thanks for the stay!
