The KNSM Island is one of the hidden gems of Amsterdam, quiet and peaceful, but close to the city center. It is possible to sit outside on a private terrace and jump in the water for a swim. The sunsets are pretty spectacular as well.

This beautiful studio with garden view in a family home is a peaceful place just 15 minutes away from the busy city center. The entrance to the house is communal, we live on the top floors, but the studio has its own entrance from the hallway and has private access to the garden with view on and entrance to a canal. The studio has a kitchen with basic cooking equipment (microwave, hot plates, pans, coffeemaker etc), shower, toilet and seating area to make your stay as convenient as possible.

Sabine was a really great host! We did not meet her personally, but she still made an effort and regularly inquired about our well-being. Furthermore, she also had a lot of good suggestions about what you can experience on site and should not miss! There is nothing bad to say about the room, you get what you were promised and there was a really cozy atmosphere!

Mirjam welcomed us warmly upon arrival despite the late hour. The room is very nice, quiet, spacious, bright, tastefully decorated. The small touches (tea, herbal teas, coffee, stroopwafels, wihlelmina) are appreciable and nicely enhanced our stay. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to leave our luggage in the room the last day before our departure as Mirjam trusted us by suggesting that we leave the keys inside the accommodation if she was not there for our departure. We can only recommend our host and thank her again for everything.

...a dream: incredibly quiet, right on the water. 2 minutes to the tram & to shopping & restaurants, perfect for a trip to Amsterdam. ...there were four of us in the small, well-equipped apartment & we had everything you need for a city trip - clean bed, great location & wonderful ambience. Jackie was really very helpful, friendly & had good tips. We'll be back ❣️

Ozzy’s place is a gem. The apartment is spotless, beautifully designed and incredibly well located. The train is quite literally at the door, which made getting around so easy. It’s in a part of the city that gives you a feel for local life…not too far from the center, but just far enough to avoid the overly touristy vibe. I loved that balance! The space itself is full of thoughtful touches, both calming and eclectic. It’s easy to see how much care has gone into creating it :) And then there’s Ozzy himself. A truly wonderful host. It’s easy to see why he has so many glowing reviews. He’s kind, attentive and genuinely thoughtful, with a calm energy and personality that puts you at ease right away. What made this trip even more special were the conversations we had…thoughtful, funny and unexpectedly grounding. I left this place not only well rested but v inspired. Ozzy and the space both have a way of staying with you... Highly recommend, and I hope to return.
