A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. From the railway station, you take the MAIN tram line no 1 to the city centre, we are at 300m from the stop GRAVENSTEEN (castle)

This "solo safari tent" is located in a sheltered place in the meadows surrounded by knot willows. At the bottom of an unpaved walking dike with a pond next to it. The horses and sheep come every now and then to see what you are doing, but that will not disturb your privacy. Luxury "camping" with the convenience of (green) electricity, hot and cold water, outdoor shower, good mattresses, campfire, small but complete kitchenette. "The old meule" was built in 1877, which we have made into a cozy bed and breakfast.
