Brilliant place really lovely, need deeper cleaning between stays my partner does run her cleaning company so we have high standards but old dog hair and lots of dust isn’t the greatest! But the location and property is beautiful

Lovely house and beautiful location for our mother’s 60th celebration family gathering. The beautiful views from the garden, fire pit and hot tub were a great hit. We did two lovely walks from the property - one to a vineyard - and there are some fun cafes/bars in the village as well. Sandra and her husband made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and communication was very quick. I would recommend this property :)

Very cozy and quiet cottage in an idyllic area. Super friendly host and had plenty of great recommendations for us. The sauna is also Finnish approved! 😉

We had the most amazing week at this accommodation. After hectic few months leading up to our wedding, this was the most perfect getaway to disconnect and relax. The hosts were amazing and the cabin was absolutely perfect! We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better for our mini moon. We did not want to leave and it quite honestly just felt like home. Will 100% be returning in the future and couldn’t recommend it enough!

We absolutely loved our stay such much so we didn't want to leave. Sitting & having a few drinks with the family in the beautiful garden after a day out was very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend - could not fault our stay. Thank you Crystal x

A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

We've spent a week there. Great place, clean, good condition, good communication with host. Nothing to complain about. We'll be back next time for sure!

From start to finish, this place is an absolute dream. So peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect little weekend getaway. The house and surroundings were absolutely spotless, the ducks were adorable, and the attention to detail with providing extras needed for comfort was superb. Clare was a fantastic host. Always responsive but never intrusive. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a few days or more with your partner - or just on your own - where you can recharge your batteries, this is it.

Tina was super friendly, kind and helpful. We felt it was home away from home and enjoyed preparing some delicious food in the nice kitchen We loved walking our dog in the common where there were deer, squirrels and beautiful bird life. We were even lucky to try the Neighbour’s free range fresh eggs from their rescued chickens who have a second chance at life. Badger’s Rest’s beds are very comfortable and it is very peaceful for sleeping. That was our experience. The coffee machine was appreciated also the washing machine. We were at our last stage of our 6 month holiday of England and this was a soft place to land & to catch up on business and prepare ourselves for going home to Australia 🇦🇺 Thank you Tina for your care. Caroline was a very kind and accommodating host; we felt right at home in her beautiful slice of the South Downs. The house is small but cosy and well-equipped with everything you might need. The garden is a particular attraction for families in the summer months - look out for the tortoise!

Fabulous place to stay, great location. Ellie was considerate of that it can get a bit noisy on a Friday night and left ear plugs for the front room for those sleeping in there which worked perfectly. Beautifully decorated and everything that we needed was there ☺️

We had a great stay at this cute cottage. The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. We loved the atmosphere of the place and we thought it fits well with Arundel town. Highly recommended!

Safe to say was an amazing stay and couldnt have picked a better place to stay. Great cottage and to have a swimming pool as well topped it all off. Would highly recommend to anybody.

Ian is a lovely host and Temple Cottage is just adorable. The fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedroom were such a lovely touch. It’s spotless, clean and fresh flat. The bedroom is so cosy and the bed is comfortable. Myself and Baxter (Frenchie) stopped to talk to Ian most days. Baxter got treats which made him happy too. Overall it was fantastic and it’s so close to all the shops, sea and it was just the r&r I needed. Thanks Ian.

Had a great stay. Unique, non-generic place. Like the old days of Airbnb :) location is perfect , has most everything you can need for a stay of 1 to 3 people. Great value, no hesitations to recommend

Wonderful few days stay. Pub next door served lovely food. Very easy bus onto Lewes and further afield. Could have a lovely walk with the dog straight from the door. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Joy

We loved our stay at Chris’ place. The location is perfect for exploring the Sussex countryside (Petworth, Ridgeview etc all nearby). The house was clean and well equipped, and Chris was communicative throughout. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape from the grind with friends or family - with the added bonus of a village pub in spitting distance!

A beautiful cottage that served us well. Brilliant location for the town of Arundel and other locations are easy to get to. Responsive and great host.

We stayed for work so was not there for much of the time, it was very clean with everything you needed. Bed was very comfy, only one thing I would suggest is better pillows as they were a bit lumpy, a small thing as everything else was really good. Would stay here again

It was lush. Welcome lovely. Bread, milk and jams available. So cozy. Everything you need. TV - got Sky and apps to watch regular shows. Really comfortable bed. Bath was lovely. Parking right outside.

Lovely cottage in Worthing, close to local amenities. Cosy and well loved, gorgeous garden. Very dog friendly. We will be back!

Really enjoyed staying here. Settled in really quickly like our own home. Immaculate. Lovely garden with plants for bees and insects. Steyning high street just a few yards away with lots of interesting shops. Art Trails and cafes.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mouse House cottage. It had everything we needed for a long weekend, beautiful farm surroundings for our son to enjoy and a great location to get around and explore from.
