Charming old farmhouse/cottage with lake view

In the Sörmland forest and its amazing nature, you will find this old cottage from the early 1900s with a tiled stove and lake view. Just around the corner, there is both a swimming area and a boating area. And in the forests here you can find lingonberries, blueberries and mushrooms. If you like outdoor activities, there are very nice bike and hiking trails. The house consists of two bedrooms, 1 with a double bed 160 cm and one with a bunk bed and a single bed of 120 cm. As well as a living room, fully-equipped kitchen and toilet. Outdoor shower is available with hot water.

Ringsö - Mälaren Archipelago

Only 90 minutes from Stockholm! Welcome to our paradise on Ringsö in Lake Mälaren's archipelago. Ringsö is a car-free island that you can get to with your own boat. Nature and water are right outside the door. It is not uncommon to see hares, deer and sometimes moose along the walks on the island. Take a refreshing swim on one of the island's beaches (about a 3-minute walk to the beach from the house) or try your luck fishing at one of the island's jetties. Cook dinner at our outdoor kitchen with barbecue and end the day on the patio at sunset.

Strängnäs, lakeside accommodation centrally

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Park your car for free on the street and walk to the city center in 5 minutes. Within the same distance, you also have access to the small town's harbor with a few restaurants to choose from. Swimming area with small diving tower, tennis courts, bocce court, beach volleyball court and nice playground - all within a five-minute walk. The apartment has a double bed (160) and a sofa bed (140). Crib and high chair available.

Are you a group looking for a rural accommodation by Lake Mälaren, which has a private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and has undergone an extensive renovation in the last year to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/marina, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity to both nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Ekbacka Lake house - Cabin with lake view

Newly built modern cabin in the woods with amazing lakeview. The house was built in 2020 and is located on a hill near Lake Mälaren just 1 hour from Stockholm. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains so that the bedroom gets completely dark. 1 bathroom with a toilet and 1 guest toilet. There is also a newly built sauna.A large living room / kitchen with an amazing view through the large windows. Parties are not allowed.

Orangeriet

Welcome to the idyllic and picturesque Mariefred, our pearl of the Mälaren, and to our orangery! Orangeriet is located in central Mariefred at Strandvägen 15. Just as the address reveals, it is close to swimming but also nice restaurants and shops. Here in the kitchen, Leila Bakers was recorded once upon a time, so if you like to cook, the kitchen is well-equipped! There is a patio to eat, have a cup of coffee or sunbathe. Two separate 120 beds and a sofa bed, shower, toilet, etc. Welcome!

A small room with a simple kitchen, dining area and bed in the same room as well as a bathroom and hall. Private accommodation with entrance from the stairwell and not shared with anyone. Located centrally in the cultural district and close to Lake Mälaren. Access to garden furniture. 7-minute walk from the station and city center. 85 km from Stockholm, where you can easily take the train in 48 minutes with Mälartåg. A place to stay suitable for overnight stays and simple cooking.

Big spacious House (1h from Stockholm)

The newly renovated house from mid 19th century is located 12 km north of Malmköping. A medium sized lake for swimming and fishing is available 200 mtrs from the house.A raft to borrow is availabl. There are a variety of nice places to visit and sightseeing nearby such as Gripsholm with the historic castle dating back to the 16th century. Moose, deer and other wild animals are abundant in the forests as well as blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms. Stockholm is 80 km away.

Guest apartment next to the lake Mälaren

The guest apartment is on top of our double garage. The place is about 40 sqm, and the ceiling is quite low at some places (please check the photos). We live in a house about 50 meters in front of the apartment. From the apartment you reach (by foot) the train station in 3 minutes, the city center in 10 minutes and the dome church in 5 minutes. We have bikes, skate ramp, SUP and other things if you wish to borrow :) Towels and bed sheets are included.

Beautiful country house by Lake Mälaren. Privately situated with magnificent view and a private jetty. The house has an open floor plan, lots of windows and window doors that open up to the veranda deck which surrounds the house. Enjoy the morning sun and the sunset from different sides of the deck or from the lawn. One master bedroom and one smaller bedroom accommodate a family of up to four people.

The well appointed and cozy house is located directly on a tranquil lake with its own small sandy beach and private pier, as well as a huge sun deck. Wake up with a view of the sparkling lake and take trips into the beautiful surroundings not far from Stockholm. We cannot accept bookings from groups with more than 4 adults (plus children).

Guesthouse - at the shore of Lake Mälaren

We are far from the big city, but still only 1 hour from Stockholm, with a nice view of Lake Mälaren and the opportunity to sit on our jetty at sunset. Our guest house is about 45 sqm with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (180 cm bed) and a small living room with sofa bed (140 cm). The guest house is built together with the main building and has its own balcony.
