Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Stratton

Before we had checked out, we had reserved for next year. A superb property, in a beautiful, quiet location, but is just 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. 1 minute walk from a beach, next door to an historic ancient church and absolutely idyllic. Highly recommended.

absolutely stunning place in the beautiful moorlands. Very private, close to the river and lots of horses, sheep a cows nearby. The garden is huge and the kids(and grownups) loved it. Great facilities, well equipped kitchen. Wendy was most helpful and very quick to respond. We might well make it an annual trip.

Chris was a great host, responding promptly to any questions about the place and gave clear instructions and some useful tips and reccomendations about Bude. The house was perfect for our trip, comfy, and great for a large group with everything in good conditions. Beds were comfy and everything was as described. 10/10 house and couldn't reccomend enough!

we had a fantastic stay here, the signal box was gorgeous and well equipped with everything you need and more! Nice touches of shampoos and shower gels incase we'd forgotten, a bottle of fizz and a jug of milk in the fridge also! We found the property to be clean and welcoming and hot tub was excellent and clean. we thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous pet sheep that came to see us everyday 😍 The view from the property is amazing and the sunrise was to die for! we had dinner at The springer Spaniel one evening, lovely food and great cocktails!! we would easily recommend this gorgeous place and jacqui is a lovely welcoming helpful host! we hope to be back soon! The cottage is one of a group set within well maintained grounds affording guests with space to relax when not out enjoying the local beaches and seaside towns. Excellent support from Faye and Bernardo providing a travel cot as we were travelling with our newborn for the first time. Thank you!

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

We loved our trip to Goodleigh. The farm was beautiful, the stables were beautiful - the hot tub was a real treat. The kids loved the rope swing and we played many of the games. The place was just beautiful, the decor, location and comfy beds were perfect for our week away. We visited some lovely beaches (30 min drive tops), Combe Martin and Lynton/ Lynmouth were favourites of ours. We visited a recommended pub - The Black Venus Inn was amazing, food was great. A perfect week and would 100% recommend.

Danny’s home is in an ideal, rural location, set back on an expansive lawn overlooking the sea on one side, hills with grazing sheep on another, and just beyond an amazing view of Plymouth. Beautiful! Directly across the street and down a short path is The Cliff Top Cafe, a great place to get a bite to eat and take in the amazing view. The home is very comfortable and clean and has everything needed to enjoy a peaceful getaway. To me, the best part of the experience was definitely the location. It absolutely does not disappoint. Views, views, views and soft sounds of sheep calling out from the hillside. Very special. Thank you Danny. We will never forget our first stay in the UK.

A great place to stay - the lodge was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. It’s super close to the beach, town centre and supermarkets, but also far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. It’s been a lovely couple of days and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The restaurant on site is a bit naff, £95 for 4 mains and a drink each, fine if you just want a quick drink - that’s more our fault for not paying attention to Sarah’s recommendations though. Thank you for being a great host, we’ll hopefully be able to stay with you again soon!

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful family home. The location was sublime, peaceful and idyllic. The quirky access was amusing and great to be so close to the Ferry Boat Inn. The house had everything you could wish for and more!

Myself and my partner spent a couple of nights here, we had an amazing time, the perfect location, the shepherds hut was so peaceful and cosy, very clean, we had everything we needed and more, the whole stay exceeded our expectations. Vicky was very welcoming. We’re already looking at booking again! We would highly recommend. A real hidden gem.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely accommodation! It's perfectly located, just a short walk to the town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and other amenities nearby. The area is beautiful with lots of scenic walks to enjoy. The place itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What a beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. It could have been difficult to find, but Jamie's clear photo instructions took us right to the door. Fabulous location, straight onto the canal, and a delightful 3km towpath walk to Bude. Also easy direct access to the coast path. We asked Jamie for recommendations on where to eat and all of his suggestions were spot on. You are spoilt for choice in Bude. Thankyou for the lovely Cornish cream tea on arrival. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little house by the sea. It had everything we could possibly need and was immaculately clean throughout. Carol was absolutely lovely—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

great place to stay, plenty of room, well equipped, site when we were there very quiet. 5min max walk to the coast path, beach really good (at low tide the beach runs probs 1.5k of very flat sand), with awesome rock formations to see. all staff on ths site we spoke to were very friendly. will happily return.

We booked as a last minute break and Roberta was very helpful and kind when we were organising our trip. The property was beautiful and the grounds even more so. It was a lovely peaceful break, just what we needed. The property also isn’t far from Bude so if you did want to venture out there are lots of nice places to eat and things to do. The beach was great and they have a sea pool if you do want to go for a swim but don’t fancy getting in the sea itself!

Joe's place is a little gem in Bude, your central for everything and it is situated in a central, peaceful & private place. You have a private courtyard to sunbathe in or have a bbq & Joe has a couple of Kayaks there that you can use on the canal which is right by your accommodation. There is also a chairs & a table next to the canal which Joe has kindly put there for his guests to enjoy or you could feed the ducks. Joe gave us so many recommendations on things to do, places to eat that we did not have enough time to do them all, so I guess we will be coming back once again at some point & we are both looking forward to that. The accommodation is good for couples or a family and it is well presented and has everything you need including private parking & dog friendly. I would highly recommend this little gem in Bude & Joe is an excellent host who knows the area well & I couldn't praise him enough with all his help that he gave. Thank you Joe.

We had the best week here! The house was even better than we thought it would be, very private and so close to the town/ beach. The house was immaculate with everything you need. Kristen had left lots of goodies for us when we arrived which was much appreciated. We will definitely be back!
