Holiday rentals with lake access in Sudden Valley

We spent a terrific few days here. The home is lovely. Spotless, perfectly equipped, very comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings while also being so close to town.

We had such a great stay at this Airbnb! I stayed with my best friend from Ontario, my daughter, and her friend, and the place was perfect for all of us. It was incredibly spacious, which gave everyone room to relax and unwind without feeling crowded. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub — we used it in the evening and morning which made the stay feel extra special and relaxing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. The Sharon and her husband were friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. We’d absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend.

It was a nice surprise to have AC in the unit. It was a very nice place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. It was kid friendly in that it had a highchair and playpen, but lots of fragile things. It had everything we needed for the kitchen and had lots of room to move around. I loved that there were so many comfy areas to hang out and that it's so close to the lake. It was a great place for our needs and I would consider returning.

David’s place was the perfect weekend getaway for our family, including our 2 year old and our family pup. It was so great that they had all the essential kid things, and there was enough space for the kiddo to sleep in his own room. Close enough to Bellingham to pop into downtown for a bite and exploring, and within 5 minutes to several hiking trails. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of wrangling the toddler.

The home was peaceful and beautiful. It was in a lovely woodland setting and we enjoyed sitting and watching the hummingbird flit around her tiny little nest in the tree out back. We took advantage of the hot tub and we sat on the deck and enjoyed the sun. I am not sure what kind of magical beds and sheets the owners have - but we ALL commented on how comfortable the beds and sheets and comforters were. The sleeping situation was amazing. Which is just what you want when you go on vacation! We would definitely stay here again when visiting Bellingham!

This was a fantastic Airbnb option for anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing getaway. The host was super helpful, the house was beautiful and overall it was a super enjoyable stay. Highly recommend

What a beautiful home and location! The setting is peaceful with easy access to lake, pretty views, and very comfortable! I highly recommend staying at this home and appreciated Xavier's quick response and the attention to detail all around.

it's a lovely stay. very spacious the bed is very large. lots of pots and pans to cook from, a grill. a pool for the summer and hot tub when your there in the winter time still but want to enjoy the water. the club house is also very close to room. Great stay. would recommend :)

This studio is a lovely place to relax and unwind. The area was so quiet, and the sound of the small creek nearby lulled us to sleep at night. The view was better than I expected from the pictures. The studio had an abundance of amenities, which made it easy to do basic cooking. The Rosario Grill was within walking distance and had delicious food, craft cocktails and a lovely outdoor neighborhood vibe when we wanted something close. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!

One of the best stays we’ve had. This is just the loveliest setting, with so many activities. The cabin is absolutely rustic but if your emphasis is on the outdoors and the location rather than amenities you’ll love it as much as we did. We grilled for friends and fished and swam and hiked and played uno flip for hours. We’ll be back!

Thanks for hosting as Eryn! The Love Shack is a cute cabin/home a quaint location, laid back very little traffic. Perfect for getting away from the city life with the convenience of all the city living. Her place was fairly well stocked, cleaned and easy to find. Very responsive in communication. We would definitely come back in the future.

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend cooking and relaxing with our family. There was plenty of seating and the kitchen was fully stocked with amenities. Great floor plan for 2 families to share and find private space. We’ll be back!

This little cabin on the lake is a treasure. You couldn't ask for a more serene environment and stunning views. Rita is the perfect host - great communication, and set the place up with all the nice touches. She is super-responsive to any request. The pictures don't do it justice - Rita, I'm sending you some better ones!

Beautiful location. Loved the easy access to the waterfront. Lots of great spaces to hangout as group. We enjoyed having lunch on deck and bonfires at night by the water. The beds were super comfortable too!

Izabella’s cottage was just perfect for our family getaway! Beautiful home in a peaceful setting, the pools were amazing for the kids and adults. We would love to come back!

Gathered at Loralee’s cottage with family for a family wedding. The house was resonably clean - kitchen cupboards a bit sticky, but otherwise wonderful set up. Lots of dishes and cookware, 4 different coffee pots (keuring, french press, drip) but no teapot 😢. Bedrooms were cozy and comfy with decent storage. Great to have the deck to sit out, read and enjoy a drink. Very walkable area with nearby hiking trails. Hardest part of our visit was getting past the Airbnb questions to get the security code! The rest was a breeze!

I had a lovely weekend with friends at this amazing place... such a beautiful area to explore and the home was very cozy and relaxing. They had many nice details that made us feel welcome and at home. I would love to go back!
