Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Šumber

It was a wonderful vacation in a perfect house with a quiet and very private environment. The pool was great. The house was modern and newly furnished. Just as it was described in the pictures. We would all like to come back here next year.

Our family of four had a great week at Maya‘s guesthouse. We loved the private backyard with nice garden, heated pool and jacuzzi. The small house has everything we needed and there is a good outdoor kitchen as well. The beach is a few minutes away and at least in fall there are good chances that you have it for yourself. There are hiking trails to the secluded northern part of the island steps away from the house as well. The communication with Maja is easy and very friendly.

We stayed for 1 week and wished we could stay another week. Everything was perfect. Communication with Andreas was quick and easy. He provided helpful information about parking and where we would meet Hana, who would take us to the house. Hana was fantastic. She met us at the car, helped with our bags, showed us the house, and provided great tips about nearby cheaper parking, grocery store etc. The house itself was amazing and is exactly as per the photos. Spread across 4 levels it provides lots of space for couples and larger groups. We ate breakfast outside on the terrace every morning. Couch in the lounge is super comfy, as are the beds. Each bedroom has an ensuite and there is another toilet downstairs next to the kitchen that also has a laundry. Located in the centre of Rovinj everything is within a few hundred meters walk. We could explore one minute, and be back home to relax the next. We would love to stay here again next time we are in Rovinj.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is a hidden gem. While the original description was a little misleading, suggesting the house is in Rovinj (it is actually in Modrušani, near the small town of Žminj - 20 minute drive to Rovinj), that didn't take anything away from the beauty of the place. The house is tastefully furnished, the kitchen very well equipped and all bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. The pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas, as well as the outdoor kitchen were amazing. Thank you Marta for being a great host! We'll be back whenever we get a chance.

Very good stay with Fides who is an incredible host of kindness and simplicity. We were welcomed like kings with cold drinks for our arrival, pastries, figs and tomatoes during our stay and finally a small gift for our departure. Amazing, we've never been so well received. The house is as described, very close to the pool and has everything you will need. Only a very small downside, the noise of the road which can sometimes be inconvenient but does not spoil your stay. Great house and an amazing host would stay again

We had a great stay at the place. We especially liked the private garden with the pool. There you could relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The house and hosts were also great.

We (6 adults and 3 children) had a great stay at Jasminka's place. The place is as described and on the pictures. Everything you need is there. Jasminka is totally friendly and accommodating. If you have any questions, she will be there immediately. Upon our arrival we would also be surprised with small treats and in between there was a wonderful apple pie. We'll be happy to come again anytime

I am very attentive to cleanliness and Ante's apartment was really clean and tidy; it is equipped with everything you need for your stay, including the kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook. Ante was available and the stay was great.

Perfect Workation Spot with Amazing Hospitality! We had an incredible stay at Oliver's place! The accommodation was clean, stylish, and super comfortable – everything we needed for a relaxing and productive visit. We were doing a workation, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to stay connected and get work done without any issues. It was the perfect balance of work and leisure. The pool was definitely a highlight – clean, refreshing, and a great way to unwind after work hours. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality of our host. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. We received honey snaps and fresh picked cherries. One two evenings, we even grilled together with the host, which was such a fun and unexpected highlight. It felt like staying with friends rather than just booking a place. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Pero's place was perfect for us with easy parking, all the amenities you might need and captivating views from the deck. Close enough to Opatija and Rijeka but still a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

My parents, my brother and I had a wonderful stay of 3 nights at Erika's apartment. Erika's lovely mother warmly welcomed us and was always available for advice. The apartment is beautiful and cosy, very clean and comfortable. The location is superb, right in the quiet nature and very close to the entrance of the national park. I highly recommend Erika's apartment!

The owners of Villa Cami are incredibly welcoming, reliable, and helpful. Communication was always fast, solution-oriented, and kind. Everything from arrival to check-in and check-out went perfectly. The villa itself is immaculate, tastefully furnished, and set in a beautiful, peaceful environment. In person, it exceeded the already great impression from the photos. For families with children who value privacy and tranquility, this is absolutely the perfect choice. We felt completely comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. Gloria and Alen are wonderful and helpful hosts. The villa is a dream, everything is just right here. If you haven't been here yet, you should come, and if you've already been here, you'll come back anyway. We had a wonderful vacation and can recommend this villa one hundred percent!

We were 4 with a toddler (1.5) for 8 nights in Sanjin's accommodation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sanjin's parents with a small platter of ham and cheese, olives and 2 bottles of wine. They even got something extra for the little one. They showed us the house and the garden. After a few minutes, they even came back with a baby swing. Very sweet! The accommodation is a bit off the beaten path, you have to drive to the nearest town. There, however, you will find everything - from the bakery to supermarkets, gas station, restaurants and everything else. The sea is about 15-20 minutes away by car. We have specially reserved a holiday home with a pool and everything, so we can enjoy the time relaxing in the house. We were therefore able to make great use of the time and relax. Communication with Sanjin was outstanding - he responded super fast and helped us with everything. Thank you so much! We can only recommend it!

We had spent a wonderful 12 days in this special villa. We were very warmly welcomed by the house owners; with guest basket and a personal tour of the house. It had everything you needed, fully equipped kitchen. Down to the last detail. (even Netflix, X-Box) Everything very clean and stylish. The pool is a little smaller than it looks in the photos, but our kids, like us, enjoyed the cooling off every day. And with the counter-current you can also do a few swimming moves;) Highly recommended. If you are looking for quiet and relaxing holidays, this is a wonderful place. Thank you for everything.

Our stay at Villa ZEL was great. Located in the heart of Istria, the villa is an ideal starting point for trips around the region. It is also extremely comfortable for relaxing indoors or around the pool. The accommodation is clean, nicely designed and well equipped. Leana was always available online. We would definitely come back again.

An absolutely charming stay in a superb villa. The construction was of very high quality and the building was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The amenities, especially the pool, and even MORE SO the jacuzzi and sauna (personal favorites) made the stay seem like being in a private spa. The location is wonderful. Delightfully windy roads lead from small village to small village, until you reach Villa Poji which looks out on gorgeous countryside. There are some great places to visit within 20 minutes, MOST great Istrian locales within an hour, but often it’s best to just stay put and enjoy the feeling of the countryside and the comfort of the villa. Filip was an exceptional host, providing a lovely welcome and timely answers to any questions that could come up by being available through ‘whats’ messaging app. This is a wonderful way to communicate with the owners.
