We had a lovely couple of days at Laburnum Cottage, it’s a beautiful cottage and location. Hopefully we’ll get back one day.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in this charming cottage in beautiful surroundings. Great for walking (better in sunshine, but even the rain didn't dampen our spirits!) Feels remote, but Cotherstone village is only 2 miles away - with the excellent Fox and Hounds for lunch! - and a walk in the other direction brings you to Hury reservoir (and a little further on Hannah's Meadow). Low Barn Cottage is equpped with everything you could possibly need, from the fab kitchen to the comfy beds! (The cottage is accessible for anyone with mobility needs with ramped access between kitchen and living room.) Plus there are lovely fresh eggs available to buy for breakfast. We didn't make use of the pool and gym but that option is available should you want more exercise than walking. We loved our stay here, our host Chris was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a stay at East Briscoe Farm Cottages.

Julia was a brilliant host from booking until check out! The cottage was absolutely stunning and so was the surrounding areas. Julia was very friendly and helpful, we went as a group of work friends and was being a little too loud without realising, Julia was understanding and just politely asked if we could quieten a little outside due to neighbours, to which we apologised and enjoyed our night. I would definitely return in the future, hopefully with the family for a longer stay. Thank you so much Julia!!!!!

The cottage was beautiful. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was lovely that Nicola had catered for our dog also. The area is beautiful located near enough to other villages and towns if driving. The hot tub was amazing. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend it to others. Thankyou for making our stay so lovely.

Thanks Ben, we had a great weekend at Stanley Cottage. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches, dog treats, human treats, phone chargers, hair straighteners, bathroom products!! The cottage was very comfortable and the hot tub a welcome pause, thank you.

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

Had a great stay at Delia's beautiful house, comfortable and stylish with everything that we needed, in a great location in Stokesly, with shops pubs and bars all a minute or two walk away, but set back on a green so really peacefull, great garden too. Highly recommended!

An old farmhouse with a lifetime of memorabilia and nic-nacs. Wonderful stay. Three large bedrooms upstairs with three bathrooms; large kitchen, dining, lounge and another toilet downstairs. We only stayed one night on a driving holiday and it was very comfortable.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family in Darlington. The property was comfortable clean & warm & a good size & could comfortably cater for the 4 adults who stayed. The village was quiet & picturesque & had some nice walks down by the river.

Easy walk into Corbridge town centre and its cute pubs. A nice little pub just around the corner. Easy access to all the sights we wanted to see, especially the Roman ruins and Hadrian’s wall. We also took a trip to Durham which is a great town to visit.

Perfect! Exactly what we wanted, the cottage was pristine and equipped to a high standard with everything you need. Although dogs are welcome you would never know that a dog had been anywhere near. The location is secluded and peaceful with great views with horse stables next door and horses in the field. Swallows nesting in the stables constantly flying around. The enclosed garden is ideal for dogs to wander freely safely. Joanna is a great friendly host responsive and only too happy to help. Would highly recommend!

Lovely spacious house that had everything we needed and great location for beach and town centre. Local coop proved to be very handy.

We had a lovely stay! The place was tidy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We did experience a couple of minor issues, like some sockets not working and a brief problem with the hot water boiler. However, the host was extremely helpful and quick to respond, and everything was sorted out promptly. Really appreciated the support — it made all the difference. Would happily recommend this place to others!

The perfect place for a weekend getaway! Lots of great places to see in the area. Addy’s cottage had everything we could have needed and more. We made good use of the fully equipped kitchen but had some great recommendations for places to eat out nearby too. The cottage is a clean and cosy space and we couldn’t have asked for more! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

We needed a place to stay while our bathroom was being remodelled, and it needed to be close to home so we could check on the progress of the work. Violet Cottage fitted our needs perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked with essentials (the chocolate biscuits were a bonus) and was simply everything we’ve come to expect from an Airbnb Superhost. Grant was very responsive when we had questions and generally made sure our stay was entirely to our satisfaction. For out of town visitors, this place is close to the city centre, close to the river and close to a lot of facilities, both for basic needs and entertainment. We highly recommend Violet Cottage.

5* the cottage was perfect and super cute we wanted a few days away as a family to have some us time as well as visiting family and the cottage was just what we needed very cosy in the most perfect location 1 minute from the beach and vikki was super helpful with recommendations which we were really grateful for! Would definitely stay here again thank you for a beautiful stay :) x

What a great house, had everything we needed, is modern but still cosy, great pizza place (knead a slice) nearby, and fab tea room on the square. Beautiful local walks - deer park, binchester roman fort by the river. Thoroughly recommend and highly enjoyable!

Great Airbnb, very clean, with good facilities, very comfortable, perfect for two, with the benefit of secure parking behind electric gates. We used it to visit our son and girlfriend in Newcastle over a weekend. Our hosts were fantastic with communication, giving great directions and always responding promptly to our messages. A welcome gift of food essentials was waiting for us on arrival (bread milk eggs etc), which was a lovely touch. Located outside Newcastle, this was ideal for us and a short Uber trip into the city was less than £8, far better than the hassle of driving and paying for parking. Additionally, Low Fell had plenty of places for eating and drinking and was only a 10 minute walk from the accommodation. Will definitely use this Airbnb in the future if visiting Newcastle. A well equipped house with character which was a great place to spend a week exploring the south of Northumberland. The house has character, is in a quiet spot on a hill overlooking fields and is well equipped. John was there if we needed him and always chatty and helpful when. We'd definitely stay again!

We cannot reccomend a stay at capheaton estate highly enough. A beautiful cottage, with comfortable and luxurious finishing touches in incredibly peaceful surroundings, responsive and helpful hosts. Such a wonderful place to relax, away from the busy world, but close to some great pubs and within reach of key attractions. Would happily stay again.

Perfect place for a couple's get away. The gardens of the main house are open to guests and are stunning. Micheal was a great host, welcoming and happy to give advice on what to see and do. We will definitely be coming again!
