Cottage holiday rentals in Sunset Bay

This was a phenomenal stay! The house was clean and well stocked (e.g. toilet paper, soap, dishes, etc.). The rooms were as posted in the photos, so there were no surprises! Vu was a very responsive and helpful host. When we had trouble with the hot tub, he came down right away and checked the water for us. As a suggestion for those visiting, if you are sensitive to pool chemicals, you should run the hot tub for one cycle before getting in. There were some spatulas that were unclean in the drawer, but this was not of big concern to us as it might have just been missed while cleaning. Location wise, it’s walkable to Crystal Beach and it has some cute shops along the way! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

The place was incredibly accommodating for the group of 8 of us !! We had a great time hanging out in the backyard and between the kitchen and dining table with the open concept. The place was tidy, clean, and all the amenities were as advertised — would definitely stay again!

Kelly's cottage was perfect for me and my boys to get away! The stream behind the house was lovely and just a short paddle to Chautauqua Lake. My kids loved the hot tub! The cottage was fully stocked with dishes to cook with and coffee and snacks (my boys loved the mini popcorn!), as well as, plenty of fresh linens and towels. We had such a great time and are looking forward to making this a yearly tradition already!

Mandy’s place and Sherkston Shores are amazing! Mandy was so responsive and made everything easy about our stay! The cottage is beautiful, steps from the beach, and has everything you’d ever need! We will be back!

What a beautiful location and the view….wow! Far exceeded our expectations. There were so many areas to hang out that we could all be together or also have quiet time alone to read etc. The hot tub was pristine, beds were so comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Hosts quickly responded to any questions I had before hand and had suggestions of local events. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was awesome. So many thoughtful touches. Would stay again with my friends and would love to return with my family as well. :)

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful! The space was stylish, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really made the experience special was the host's exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We didn't want to leave and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb experience!

The home is so beautiful, I took pictures because I really want to build a home and it’s what I’m going to base it off of!!! Kathlene was so helpful. Anything we needed she was right on it.!! we will plan on coming again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this location or the home itself!!

My wife and I came to this lakeside cottage right after our marriage for our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we stepped inside we could see how Nickesha went out of her way in decorating her beautiful cottage to welcome and congratulate us in our marriage. My wife and I would never have expected a host to go so far in making this trip feel so special for us. The house was stunning, clean, well organized and smelled great with a beautiful view of the lake straight from the master bedroom! The view of the lake and watching the stars at night from straight from the hot tub was the highlight for us and made this such a magical honeymoon that we will always remember. We felt right at home here and it was hard packing up to leave at the end of our trip after making such beautiful memories. Thank you Nickesha, it would be a privilege to be able to come here again in the future!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to the water. We especially enjoyed our morning walks around the area and looking at all the homes and our dog especially loved running on the small beach area. Beach is Dog friendly till 10am and after 5pm. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway! WOW! That’s what we said when we opened the front door. The view of the lake was awesome and Barbara’s house was perfect for the 4 of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s before but this house had every amenity you could ask for. It is tastefully decorated and well stocked including paper products, shampoos, spices, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the morning sunrise from the master bedroom was absolutely breathtaking! We visited the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown and walked the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institute ! Barbara was the perfect hostess and even offered to mail the clothes we left in the dryer back to us. As one ages, we tend to remember the “moments” and forget the “things”🥴. Thank you, Barbara, for transforming your shack into a spectacular cottage and sharing it with us.

The Crystal Cottage is such an amazing place! Anne Marie and Norm are such wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The cottage is in a great location within walking distance to everything and is still very quiet an peaceful. The local people are also fantastic and make guests feel welcome. I highly recommend the Crystal Cottage to other guests and will be back for sure!

A great place to stay! We enjoyed the space and found that we were never overcrowded with 9 people and a dog. The cottage was even more beautiful than the pictures show and the A/C was a great amenity! The host was amazing, welcoming and accommodating! It was so close to the little town with shops and restaurants! We will for sure be back! Totally worth the price!

A great couple of days! From the phone call a couple of days, Jeff was proactive to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Very well situated - easy walk to restaurants and the beach as well as to access the Friendship Trail for biking. Comfortable beds too. Slept great. Thanks, Jeff!

I was looking for a last-minute getaway from Toronto with my dog Luna, and Robert was quick to respond and accommodate us. The Airbnb is the perfect cottage -- cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Every detail made it feel warm and welcoming. We enjoyed peaceful walks on the beach and also discovered a lovely trail nearby for Luna to explore. When I accidentally locked myself out of the cottage, Robert was incredibly responsive and showed up within 10 minutes to let us back in. We’re already planning our next trip back — we highly recommend staying at Robert and Cole's!

What a wonderful cozy cottage just a few steps from long beach. We stayed for a few days in October and it was a perfect time of the year for a peaceful getaway. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed the sunroom and our dogs found it to be a good spot to nap. Sarah was a an excellent host and we will be sure to come back for a longer stay next time.

My family and I loved Lisa’s beachfront cottage. We enjoyed the sand and water during the day, and gorgeous sunsets from the deck at night. The beach view obviously speaks for itself, but the cottage made the experience even better. The giant windows gave you great views of the lake while cooking, playing games at the table, or hanging out in the living room. Bathrooms were updated and bedrooms were comfortable and had ample space. The kitchen was awesome - huge fridge and freezer and ample supplies throughout the cupboards and drawers. Updated modern luxuries like air conditioning and gas grill enhanced the overall experience. A small note - take the stairs down to the beach slowly. They wobble a little bit! We look forward to making Lisa’s cottage a summer family tradition.

We loved our stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and looks even better than the pictures. The location is ideal because you are right on the beach and you can easily walk into town which we took advantage of. Our family of 5 (3 young children) had the best time. We have already booked another stay for 2026. Coco was extremely responsive and answered any questions I had within minutes. Book! You will not be disappointed!

This was a really great stay! Christopher’s home was very charming, modern interior and clean! Even the neighbours were so polite and nice to speak with. Cooking was great as there was quite a bit of kitchen wares to utilize and it was wonderful to see chipmunks in the morning while we had our coffee - the Lakeview was absolutely stunning. I would definitely stay again!

My inlaws and I had a great 3 night stay at this location! We visited the local wineries and Niagara falls! Perfect location, and a beautiful outdoor area and plenty of room for us 4. We got to see hummingbirds from the deck too!

Amazing stay for 3 months for 5-6 people, spacious and private, quiet, and peaceful. Everyone can find a personal spot. Really enjoyable place even for people with a different mindset. The host's choice of coffee was beautiful.

This lovely cottage was full of thoughtful touches. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the living area spacious. The location is peaceful and yet lively restaurants and the beach are only a 10 minute walk away. I especially appreciated being a little away from the beach on an extremely busy long weekend. This is perfect place to stay for a summer cottage getaway in Crystal Beach.

The cottage was perfect for us! It is just like the pictures and Stephen and Chelsea were very responsive. I also want to mention how family friendly the cottage is. We have a 3 and 1 yr old and the cottage had baby gates upstairs and downstairs, an adorable play kitchen set that kept them very entertained, pack and play, high chair and more. We really appreciated all the extras for the kiddos - thanks so much!

The Haven was in a beautiful location and is an awesome house that was perfect for our group. It has lots of room for everyone, as well as all the fun outdoor toys to keep everyone busy! Thanks for another great time!

We absolutely loved our time at Anu’s lakeside cottage. We felt right at home. The lake was gorgeous and sounded like the ocean. The waves never stopped and the wind kept the bugs away. We enjoyed our evenings around the fire and bbq’d every night. The stars didn’t disappoint, there was very little light pollution! Oh and the sunsets were amazing. The cottage was homey, yet spacious and very comfortable. We slept so well, and it was great having a spare room for the two pack’n plays for our twins. It was our first getaway as a family of four and we hope to book there again next year!
