Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Susquehanna Township

Thank goodness for the central air in this cute rental! We stayed when the outdoor temperature was racing up to 100, totally unexpected. What a welcome relief with the AC. The rental had a nice layout with what seemed like a lot of room for the small square footage. The interior decorating was perfect for a vacation getaway with the calm and peaceful accents. All of the essentials were within reach. Beds were very comfortable. The sound of the train was charming to us and something we are used to with one nearby us at our home. The road traffic/noise took some getting used to, but was no issue for what we had planned for our stay. This was the perfect stay for the purposes of our trip. Thank you to the hosts for being so responsive throughout the process!

We loved this river house! Everything was just as the description, photos and other reviews indicated. The river was too high and fast to kayak or swim, but we enjoyed sitting on the deck, using the binoculars and watching the birds and trains go by. I'm grew up in Harrisburg and had always wanted to do a staycation like this on a visit back to see family. My parents and friends stopped by for meals and loved it!! Will stay again when we're in the area.

We loved this house. It was clean, peaceful and quiet. No trouble getting to the house and Kiley was very helpful during the whole process. We would highly recommend staying here and the host is wonderful.

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home. Emily and Melvin made sure to make us feel right at home and even left us a sweet treat for coming back. This home is beautiful, comfy beds, very well kept, and beautiful grounds if you’re lucky you can even see the horses from the deck. We will definitely be coming back next year!

Tammy was an amazing host! All of the amazing recommendations that she gave us and our space was very clean and organized. If anyone is looking for a place to stay while visiting Hershey park this is a great spot!

Excellent 2 bed / 1bath property! Very clean and comfortable with easy access to Hershey park and surrounding attractions. Nice selection of nearby restaurants and grocery options. Michele and Kim were great hosts with friendly, clear instructions and timely responses to questions. Highly recommended!

Karen's "Lancaster Retreat" is a wonderful spot to stay in the Lancaster area. The apartment is pristine and had all the amenities listed along with a modern, large and well stocked kitchen. The outside deck is a terrific place for a morning coffee. I highly recommend Karen's accommodation for a visit to Lancaster. It is definitely a 5* AirBnb.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The hosts were very responsive when I messaged them, flexible and thought of all the little details to help make our stay easier. A clean, beautiful space, close to Hershey Park. Would definitely stay again!

Sue has a wonderful place that was exceptionally clean in a nice neighborhood! It felt very cozy and homey as soon as we walked in the door! Some things I did wish I had known prior to booking was that Sue controls the A/C unit and if you are hot natured like us, that can be a little challenging. There is a ceiling fan but we were still on the warmer side. Also, the bed is very firm and the pillows were flat. I was glad I had taken my own pillows but my husband did not have his own. These may not be dealbreakers for most but just something you can know to expect. Also, this was our first time staying in an attached unit to someone’s home so maybe that’s a common theme among those types of airbnbs. Either way, our stay was fine and Sue was incredibly kind!

Great stay for my first time using Airbnb, a homely cozy place and Teresa was very friendly, communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend for others and will be staying again if I ever return to the area I will be sure to stay here again, thank you much!

This was our second time staying there. Perfect for an overnight or weekend stay. Skip the hotel and check it out. Great restaurants and everything is walkable. The extra touches for the pup was very kind. We love how easy it is and you can park right in front. Thank you for letting us stay again.

Matt was a wonderful host! He communicated with me before and throughout my stay, and upon arrival, provided a super helpful booklet with local recommendations and reminders about the house rules. The place was clean, and exactly as described. Although Matt provided thorough instructions on how to access the unit, we did find it a bit tricky at first, but once we got in, accessing it throughout our stay was a breeze. The location was perfect! We were visiting for a concert at Hershey Stadium and we were able to walk to the venue and back with ease. Overall, great stay and would highly recommend!

This place is awesome and we can’t wait to return. Everything was very clean, and it was private and so relaxing. The owners were very responsive and provided everything and even surprised us with fresh eggs. The chickens were such fun to watch from the patio, and Izzy their dog was so friendly. The owners are wonderful people and they were very attentive. We can’t wait to return.

This was a last minute booking for a business trip and the owner was very responsive and got us checked in the same day. Very comfortable space with an easy going owner. Highly recommend.

Abbey’s place was a perfect location for the price. You could easily walk to everywhere downtown! It was also a perk that there was Southern Market right across the street. They supplied a sound machine because it is on a Main Street but I slept perfectly fine with it on! They had plenty of amenities where I could do laundry or cook while our stay there. It would be perfect for a longer stay as well. I plan on coming back here again if I were to stay in Lancaster!

The York Condominium was a clean and a lovely place to stay. The king bed is comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the living room is spacious. We felt safe and enjoyed walking to many restaurants, breweries, and a nearby walking trail. The location was good to visit both Harrisburg and Gettysburg. This was a well priced place to stay and recommend staying here.

What a great place to stay at the lake. We are mountain bikers and this place is super close to the trails. They were so sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Large place, great jumping off point and close to town for my partner, my dog and myself. Very clean, and set up great to watch TV at night or work from home. And a fully operational kitchen so you don't have to eat out every night. Thank you again!

It was a delightful and cozy place to stay at especially with lots of things to do all around. We would recommend staying there for the vibes and local stores all around especially if you don’t want to rent a car. There’s lots of food places like heavenly wings is 10/10 recommend if you want wings.

Nicely designed lower lever of the house with just 6-7 steps down, easy access from the driveway in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the kitchen with a gas stove, good quality stainless steel cooking pots, full size fridge and nice window overlooking flowers in the backyard. Also bathroom has a large hotel quality shower and plenty of extra towels. Bedrooms had extra blankets, pillows and sheets.The only thing I wished was, that the beds were firmer, but if you like soft mattresses you are going enjoy the place.
