Nice cabin for a quiet trip. It was clean and comfy. The heater worked well at night. There's a firepit in front of the cabin, and you can buy firewood from the host. Remember, there's no electricity or shower in the cabin. You can use a shared shower nearby. Also, the pizza place and store on the map are only open some times of the year. The nearest places to eat and buy things are 30 minutes away by car. The host was friendly, quick to reply, and gave good tips about the area.

After being on the road for three weeks I just needed a quiet place to recuperate for a few days and this was the perfect spot. The indoor spaces were very clean, the showers were excellent, and it was a treat to speak with Master Lim. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to have ear plugs as there is a fair amount of critter noise and cars driving by at night from the tents but during the day it is peaceful as can be.

We had a wonderful stay at Susan’s place! The home was spotless, comfortable, and in a peaceful setting. We brought our dog along, and he absolutely loved the enclosed backyard — it was perfect for him to run around safely. Susan was incredibly kind and responsive throughout. Highly recommend staying here — we’d love to return in the future!

Great jumping off point for Ape Cave and Two Forests trails. Thoughtful and fun outdoor space with firepit, multiple tables, and covered deck space for the inevitable Washington rain. Troy was very flexible, quick to respond, and easy to follow instructions for getting in.
