To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

Thank you for visiting my page. This is a renovated and certified 140-year-old Kyo-Machiya. Located in the heart of Kyoto, we are 7-minute walk from the Imperial Palace and Imadegawa Station (K06), with Kyoto Station 10 minutes away by subway. We offer four bicycles free of charge for you to explore the charming backstreets that buses cannot reach. Additionally, for long stay guests , we provide a complimentary shuttle service to or from Kyoto Station upon request.

Experience traditional Japanese hospitality with all the modern conveniences. Tsuzumi and Christian welcome you join them in their beautifully restored 150 year old traditional Japanese home, located in the picturesque village of Kameoka, 25 minutes from Kyoto . Hozugawa kudari departure is 5 minutes from the house,Torokko train station 5 minutes from the house, Arashiyama is 10 minutes by train. Prices are intended with breakfast. Just 6 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can walk to imperial palace in 10 minutes. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with garden view. Electric bikes are rent for free. We have 2 houses,the house is next door, 7 people can stay at onetime. If you would like to, please make reservation from A&B.

Designed for stillness and focus, it’s a place to sit by the window, watch the changing light, and let time slow down. At night, there are almost no lights—only darkness and stars. Freshly roasted coffee and brewing tools are provided for slow mornings. Ideal for 2–3 guests looking for a calm, thoughtful stay. Not suitable for parties.

We have GOEMON-BURO(bath tub) next to shower room. Please try searching "GOEMON-BURO" !! Guests can enjoy your garden while enter the GOEMON-BURO. 2 minutes to Sijo-Dori(downtown) on foot, guests can enjoy shopping and access to public transportations soon.
