The Lakehouse (Nybyggt)

Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. Cottage with luxury, bird chirping and lovely nature

Gammelgården is located 5 km north of Finspång. The cottage is newly built in old style with moon windows, crystal chandelier and luxurious bedding. Lake view and boardwalk down to Bysjön, we have a small rowboat for guests. Loans of bicycles for lovely bike rides and loans of golf clubs, Finspång has 27 hole course with pay and play. We (Ingrid and Bill and the cats Tussilago and Pantufa )live on the farm in an old house from the 1750s with separate entrance and parking.

The stage

Relax in this cozy and quiet home with views of Omberg and Östgötaslätten. Bo neighbors with Kafé in Skedet, bakery & pub. Only 2 km away is Borghamn with, among other things, a country shop, Gyllenhammar's inn and a cosy harbor with nice swimming facilities. Here you are close to Omberg, Ellen Keys beach, Alvastra Klosterruin, the bird lake Tåkern and Ombergs Golf. 15 km north of Skedet is Vadstena, a small town with a lot of history, nice restaurants and nice little shops.

Welcome to our guesthouse on our farm located in the middle of Vadstenaslätten next to Lake Vättern. Here is close to Vadstena with medieval environments, castles, monasteries, cozy small shops and restaurants. South of us is Omberg, which is also one of Östergötland's most visited excursions. Fågelsjön Tåkern is located east of the farm. There's a lot to see and experience.
