Monthly Rentals in Taoyuan District

We stayed there for 2 nights and only got to meet the owner when we checked out today. She was very lovely and helpful and helped us get to our next accommodation smoothly. The place was clean, modern and exactly how it is described in the listing. Everything was very clean and the room is very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Place isn't the most convenient as there's not much around and you need to take the bus to get to places. Even for meals, the nearest place was a 20 minute walk away, and it is through the road as there are no walking paths. At night, there won't even be streetlights on at certain areas of the road. We stayed here mainly because it was relatively closer to Alishan and that was where we wanted to explore, but it'll still take about an hour to go, though a direct bus. Hosts were a really nice and friendly couple who gave recommendations and also helped fetch to and fro the nearby area to get dinner. The hosts also operate a tea shop below the room, engaged us in chat and really made us feel welcomed. They let us try different sorts of their tea which tasted really good. There's no pressure to buy them, but I bought some back for my colleagues and my colleagues like them as well. Consider this place if you want a more local experience and want to try the local tea.

Jimmy was a fantastic host, so helpful, responsive and kind. The room was perfect and the surroundings are beautiful! Would definitely recommend this to anyone exploring the beautiful Alishan region of Taiwan.

I had an amazing stay with Elaine and her husband. Even though I booked super spontaneously, they still managed to accommodate me and they were super friendly and welcoming which made me feel right at home. Elaine gave me a lot of recommendations of what to do in Alishan & the surroundings and I was lucky to try the delicious teas her husband makes ☺️ The room was really comfy and had everything I needed. I really loved the view from the house! You can do short walks in the surroundings or take the bus to the next village for more hikes. To Alishan you can also take the bus. I hope I can come back one day in the future, thanks so much for everything :)
