Monthly Rentals in Tarbolton

A lovely cottage with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside, so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. The fenced garden is so pretty and a real sun trap in the afternoons. We travelled to the Isle of Bute for the day and also had a trip along the coast to Troon, Girvan and Irvine (lovely meal at the Ship, and it’s VERY dog friendly!)

We had a fantastic long weekend at Smithfield House. The property is fantastic and so well equipped, our group made the most of the BBQ pavilion and whilst we were blessed with some Scottish Sunshine we loved the outdoor heaters and lights that allowed us to stay outside for longer without feeling the cold. We had a number of kids with us and loved the enclosed courtyard as they could run around and were safe. The games room was also a huge hit with everyone and was so convenient that the property had an EV charger.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It truly felt like a home away from home. Vikki was a fabulous host 😊

Great cottage on a working farm. Even Billy the dog and the other farm animals made us feel welcome. Not to forget the friendly hosts !
