Great location Peaceful and relaxing Great local pub within a 5 minute walk, great beer, great food at reasonable price. Would definitely stay again for a relaxing weekend with the wife and the dogs.

What an excellent home, we felt very comfortable, everything was super clean and had all the amenities you require. Jane was great at communicating. We felt very much at home and would definitely like to return one day!

We booked at short notice for my wifes 40th Birthday. It ticked all the boxes, well equipped, hot tub, nice outdoor seating and not too far from home due to travelling with a 16 week old. The caravan is fantastic and in a quiet area of Tattershall lakes. The little hamper of goodies were well received by the older 2 kids and the bottle of prosecco by my wife and I. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing break and will definitely be booking another visit. Thankyou Emma and Tom

Had a wonderful stay at the little reef lodge. It was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Everything was perfect, peaceful and quiet. Very doggie friendly also, get all round trip for all the family.

We had the best stay at Kite Lodge. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and the hot tub made the experience extra special. The lodge had everything we needed and the dogs are well accommodated for here too just bear in mind that the immediate garden area isn’t enclosed but that was ok for our dogs. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas all recommended by Rachel in the welcome pack. We will be recommending Rutland Hideaways to everyone!

We had a lovely stay here with our family, it had everything we needed, pleasantly warm and the hosts were very helpful going out of their way to help us before they left for the evening.

Firstly, a massive thank you to Jean and John for hosting us. Jean was very responsive and polite - she even went above and beyond to try and meet us in person (unfortunately we were out when she tried) nether-less, there’s not many hosts who try to meet their guests! I thought was very lovely. The lodge was a peaceful and in tranquil location with beautiful views! Our little boy absolutely loved seeing the ducks and fish every morning and throughout the day. It had all the amenities and MORE in the lodge. It was very clean and had some luxuries along the way. We were over the moon with how lovely it was. There is a lake at the back off the decking area and Jean made sure it was extra secured by add some tie wraps so our little boy couldn’t open the gate up when near. We can’t wait to come back again! And I highly recommend to anyone looking. Don’t think twice, just book it. It’s worth every penny! Thanks again Jean. From our family to yours!

we as a family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place, the views were stunning,! inside the house was amazing & very clean, the indoor swimming pool was a hit with the children! the hot tub was amazing also... thankyou for letting us stay and we hope to stay again in the future :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I had the most amazing time at the Malibu Lake House! The location was superb, and the views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up to the serene beauty of the lake right outside our window—truly a sight to behold. Helen, our host, was incredibly helpful and always responded quickly to provide any information or assistance we needed. Her attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. This place is genuinely special and one of a kind. We loved it so much that we've already booked to go again in August. The Malibu Lake House provided a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return for another fantastic stay. Thank you, Helen, for making our stay so memorable!

What a great find, we loved staying at Melissa's place. It was so clean, so stylish and classy. The fire pit, BBQ and log burner hot tub were all in use and that, coupled with a walk around their gorgeous land, watching the baby goslings march by in the morning was exactly what we wanted and more. We'd 100% go back, in fact we are already talking about it! Also Melissa and her mum Chrissie were lovely and very responsive - thanks for a great stay guys!

As a group of four ladies looking for a peaceful, chilled weekend this spacious lodge was ideal. Bedrooms were all a good size, sociable open plan living/dining & kitchen, clean & well appointed. The garden & parking were plentiful with a large, clean hot tub. We were so lucky with the weather & did plenty of walking around the lake’s & woodlands. We only contacted our hosts once & our question was quickly responded to, so tip to anyone else, take or purchase charcoal locally if you want to use the bbq. The grill & bar on site was welcoming & ideal for a pit stop drink or ice cream or we also had a lovely Sunday lunch we booked. 100% recommendation this lodge & we ladies will be back xxxx

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Firkin Lodge. Such a beautiful place, clean, tidy and the extra little touches were perfect. We had dinner at their pub next door also, the food was delicious and easily affordable Would 100% go back in a heartbeat.

This was a great find. The location, in a village just outside of Woodhall Spa was beautiful. The living space, at the bottom of a gorgeous garden, backs onto fields and the view at sunset is fantastic. There are plenty of options for walking and riding in the area. The room itself managed to be cosy and spacious at the same time. It had everything I needed for my stay. Michael and Eileen were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, helpful and always gave timely responses to my messages. It was a nice touch to have cereal, milk and fruit there as well. The only slight negative is that the nearest shops are in Woodhall Spa, but to be honest, that just gave me the excuse to get on my bike for a ride.

Stewton Stars is easily the best glamping spot we’ve stayed at. Every detail’s been thought of—log burner, electric heater, heated blankets, fridge, full sockets, eye mask, ear plugs, BBQ, marshmallows, teas, coffees, hot choc, bug spray, torch, biscuits, games, fairy lights—you name it. It felt like a home from home in the most peaceful, beautiful setting. The bathroom and shower facilities were spotless and kept that way all day. Fresh towels and spa slippers are always stocked—it's a level of care and attention you rarely get from bigger providers. At night, lanterns light the paths, giving the whole place a magical feel. Our grillkota felt totally private, even with other pods on-site. The host was warm and welcoming, and the Solis Terrace was lovely to relax on. Perfect for couples or families. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you 🙂

We had a lovely 2 days at Froghall, the surroundings are beautiful, the cabins are lovely and the lakeside view was so pretty, especially with the sunset. We took our little boy for a couple of days fishing in the lake, an evening of chill time and we could have not asked for anything better than here to escape. Sarah was an amazing host, the cabin was just amazing, immaculate and certainly exceeded what we expected. Thankyou so much for having us, we will be back as soon as possible!

Angela was lovely and friendly, very informative about her animals and explaned all about them and tols us the names of them alpacas and goat. We loved our night here and would definately recommend the place, but we want to go back and dont want it fully booked! 🤣

We loved our stay at the eco-lodge. It was very peaceful, in beautiful surroundings with walks from the doorstep. The Lodge had everything needed for a comfortable stay, especially all the different outdoor spaces and we had beautiful weather to enjoy them. It was lovely to receive a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits! The local pub, The Bluebell Inn, is just 15 mins walk away in the pretty village of Lound. Retford is very close by for shopping. Richard was very helpful and quick to respond to all our messages. Thank you for a wonderful few days. We hope to visit again!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay! Gemma was so kind & helpful, providing recommendations & leaving welcome gifts. A beautiful area! We enjoyed a Sunday morning walk on Theddlethorpe beach followed by fish & chips.

stunning lodge... cosy, comfortable, spacious... private and peaceful.. perfect for a couple or a family has everything you need including fresh milk in the fridge... could only recommend considering your stay at Neals place...
