Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Taunton

What a charming character home with the most beautiful and private garden. Rebecca was warm and friendly to communicate with and I loved the thoughtful food bits and flowers that she left for me. As the weather was good, I spent a few delightful evenings in the back garden enjoying the beautiful plants. Although Rebecca lives in the studio at the back of the garden, it is pretty much invisible from the house and I was pretty much unaware of her presence. The next herbal medicine course I do at Botanica, I will most certainly hope to book Rebecca's home again.

It was a beautiful home with exactly what we needed. Lots of provisions and a comfortable stay. The hosts were lovely and friendly, as we're their doggies ☺️

The house was beautiful: spotless, cosy, and so comfortable. The hot tub was such a treat – we really appreciated that extra touch of luxury. We’re especially grateful for how kind and friendly you were to our children, and for welcoming our dogs so warmly too – it made all the difference. You made us feel truly at home. We’ll definitely be back!

The 3 of us had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Felt truly relaxed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the Coach house was full of everything we needed, and catered very well for our 15 month old who had lots of toys to play with. The dog is great fun and friendly and its a lovely location to watch the many rabbits eating grass right outside the window. Will be back !

We chose this venue as it was recommended by Upton Barnes’s wedding venue where my son and his fiance were getting married. We were able to accommodate all of my side of the family for the wedding and the newly married couple joined us on Sunday to entertain members of the wedding party With a cooked breakfast followed by a barbecue lunch. There was plenty of space seating and parking for the approximately 25 people who visited us over the day.. Tracey was very helpful host and the house was equipped extremely well a three-year-old grandson had an enormous range of toys to entertain him. I cannot recommend this property more highly

Wow! What more can I say! This was such a delightful place and an absolute gem to find. Loved the decor, everything was so tastefully decorated and was absolutely right up our street; the cute private garden was one of our favourite spots. There's nothing negative to say, we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Laura for hosting us, we would definitely stay here again and hopefully for a bit longer as it's such a good base for exploring whatever your taste might be. We were doing a nature trip this time round but hopefully next time we will get to see more of the fantastic coasts. ❤️

Another month stopping at this wonderful house in Taunton. The house is spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and now that summer is here the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing after a hard day at work. The location was great — quiet and peaceful, with the town centre a short walk away. Communicate with the host (David) is very easy and you get a response within a few minutes if not seconds. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stop in the Taunton area.

Stunning property with everything we could possibly need and more. The whole home was immaculate from top to bottom. We have nothing negative to say at all. Nice quiet location, good parking and a 30 second walk to the pub which is at the bottom of the drive! Amazing place and would definitely visit again 😊

This flat was an absolute pleasure to stay in! It’s beautifully restored and decorated, and feels like a page out of a Jane Austen novel. The location can’t be beat and is in walking distance of all the top spots in Bath. We would certainly stay again!

Had a great weekend over Easter at Jan’s place - a beautiful garden - the kids loved the trampoline and pool - we cooked BBQ outside our Accomodation kin the peaceful garden - had great fish and chips and a cider in Watchet - the nearest harbour town (10 min drive) - we also visited from the house; quantock hills (15 min drive) killer beach (15 min drive) minehead (40 mins) and linmouth - beautiful drive over Exmoor. Would definitely come back

Louise’s place was lovely, as described. Perfect location for walking all over Bath. Easy 10 minute walk from train station. Beautiful, thoughtfully furnished apartment. Would absolutely stay again.

Very nice place to stay, close to the centre and not too far from the City Rd which is the prime location for some great food. Brilliant location

The apartment is light, spacious , spotless and beautifully presented with unparalleled views across the bay and golf course . James and Phoebe have thought of everything you could need for your holiday ( including tea, coffee, milk and biscuits for your arrival) and are extremely helpful and responsive with great communications .They provide detailed information on the best restaurants , local beaches etc . This is by far the best accommodation we have found in this area and we certainly recommend it . We shall return !

Had an amazing stay!! Susan was extremely prompt with the responses and allowed us to have a great time. I was looking for a peaceful weekend away from London and this is exactly what I got. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful little gem tucked away in a very quaint & lovely village. Sam was kind enough to allow us to check in early as we had family to meet, she was very accommodating & communicative. We had a couple of questions once there & she was quick to respond, she made our visit much easier. This property is just as pretty as it looks in the photos. Exceptionally clean & well organised. It was a pleasure to visit. As we have family in the area we will definitely be recommending for any future visitors.

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. Set in a beautiful location and exactly as photos portray it. Great attention has been paid to making it as comfortable as possible. Hosts were very welcoming and welcome pack was much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return.

Diana is the best host — a true gem, which is rare these days! The place was spotlessly clean, tidy, and incredibly pleasant. I was welcomed with beautiful fresh flowers, toiletries, milk, and coffee — such thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. The location is fantastic and conveniently close to shops. Highly recommended!

Incredible location, in a historic building, mere footsteps from the beach, cliffs, and restaurants. We loved looking out at the harbor through the bay windows. It was such a calm, relaxing atmosphere that we wished we could have stayed longer. The one issue we had was that the bathroom was a little crammed, especially the toilet. It wouldn't keep us from visiting again though.

Beautiful apartment, nice and quiet. Easy walking distance to city centre. Lovely view looking down on a small but gorgeous garden. Fabulous cafe The Bristolian nearby for breakfast.

Great location, just over Pulteney Bridge so nice and quiet at nighttime but very easy to walk over to the main attractions during the day. Lots of great restaurants etc. very close by too. The apartment itself is impressive! The scale is larger than the photos, all very spaced out with lots of room. The design is great and everything was spotless. The kitchen had amenities to be able to cook at home. Great window coverings to allow complete blockout at night, however also allowed through flow of air during the day. As advertised, it is upstairs, so something to note. We were made aware there were renovation works on the apartment upstairs, however they were all conducted in normal construction hours and we barely heard any noise. Overall, peaceful and so enjoyable, we would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Such an amazing location and the views from the apartment are incredible. Lots of options to eat and explore. Amazing place to paddle board. Our first visit to Torbay and trust me I cannot recommend enough. The host was amazing. Very welcoming. Definitely will be back soon. Thank you

Great little hideaway in stumbling distance of a bustling high street with great pubs and restaurants. The accommodation is very comfortable and very well equipped.
