Welcome to the Scheldt region, known for its tranquility, nature, hiking and cycling routes and a short distance from beautiful cultural cities of Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels and Ghent.

The house has 2 bedrooms (double bed and bunk bed) and a spacious mezzanine with sofa bed. Located near the Scheldt and Durme Valley, the area is ideal for hiking and biking. Tielrode is the ideal base (also for expats) to visit Antwerp, Ghent or St-Niklaas.

Our house is the old house of the architect in the village of Haasdonk. On the ground floor, we have set up our Airbnb, where the drawing tables used to be. Haasdonk is still a green lung, located between Ghent and Antwerp. It is the ideal base for soaking up culture, art or history in either city. Or visit Hof ter Saksen, our beautiful park forest, the Haasdonk fort or hike and mountain bike on one of the many trails in the Haasdonk woods.
