Of all the wonderful places to stay in Big East Fork, Terrapin Station is definitely the coolest and coziest. Terrapin is a whole vibe. It’s got an at-home and lively feel to it. Quiet, but not too quiet. “Ain’t no place I’d rather be”

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Hachland Hill. It was a great base for our trip to Nashville and a quiet place to regroup and rest after spending the days in the city. The breakfasts were a real treat and my daughter so appreciated the meatless plates the staff provided…just after mentioning in passing she was vegetarian when we checked in the night before. Nice personal touches all around and carefully curated throughout. Joe was super kind and friendly and I enjoyed our few chats. His local recommendations and stories of the history of the place and personal connection to it were so very interesting. We also reminisced about our days at UT…coincidentally we were both alumni and our time there overlapped. Hachland Hill was a wonderful addition to our weekend. Off the beaten path (but easy to get to) and so charming, this is truly a gem. We’d love to return sooner than later!

Sally was a fantastic host! The room was clean and the exactly like the pictures described. Joe was also very helpful giving us recommendations for places to check out in Nashville and was kind enough to make us breakfast in the mornings.

Great stay! Place was beautiful, peaceful, and the breakfast was great! It's a peaceful setting, and we had a relaxing time. The main building is really cool, and they set us up for a fire down on the huge patio. Breakfast was at 8, and was amazing, but for lunch and dinner be mindful that most food places are about 15 minutes away. Most restaurants near the inn close at 8, once we figured that out, we did fine. There is Mexican food, and an awesome pizza place close by. Overall we loved our stay.

Great location on the outskirts of Nashville. Easy access to downtown. Property was very nice and lodging was very comfortable. Good breakfasts and great hosts.

Jonathan’s cabin is one of my favorite places I’ve stayed to date. Absolutely breathtaking views, beautifully decorated and clean interior, and the hosts are responsive / very kind. I was even given lots of wonderful recommendations for what to do around town. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you again!

highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience an outdoors private camping experience. truly was peaceful and good quiet place to take a break from every day life. I recommend putting your phone on airplane mode and just try to enjoy everything offered here. the chickens are definitely a good alarm clock! ha. would love to come back in the winter.

We loved staying here! It was in a perfect location to play all day at Mammoth Cave and go into the different towns for food.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. We loved every special detail and all the extra effort to make our stay more enjoyable. We were greeted with fresh made brownies and a hot chocolate bar. In our room were fresh made cookies and a plate of fresh blueberries, cheese, salami, crackers and tomatoes. The lodge is decorated by local artist work and is just beautiful . The morning we left we were offered a home made breakfast and it was absolutely yummy. The room was cozy and very clean with a beautiful view. I would 10/10 recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shane’s place! Close to many attractions!! And they had electric bike rentals as alt way to access attractions ;) Beds were perfectly comfortable and clean; bathroom was spotless, spacious, and had clean towels; hosts also operate multiple other attractions that are well maintained and well staffed; and we had space and comfort accommodating me, spouse, and 2 boys ages 11 and 13. We will definitely stay again!!

Excellent location close to Mammoth National Park. The expansive room was comfortable and clean, featuring a nice TV and plenty of towels (no shower toiletries, be sure to pack your own soap and shampoo). No individual room climate control but fan kept temps just right. Check-in instructions were minimal and we did not see hosts around, so we were a little confused upon arrival regarding parking, room location, and entry door (hint: head up the exterior wooden staircase but watch your head!). The room had a wee fridge, which worked great. Looked like shared hallway supplies needed a bit of stocking attention (one plate, no tea kettle, no creamer), but lovely selection of teas and pretty china cups to use. Lovely shared main area downstairs with chairs and tables and a little museum (no breakfast items, bevvies, or snacks, so bring your own). Overall comfy, private spot super close to the park.

Absolutely beautiful property! The wagon was soo neat! Can’t wait to go back and stay again with my kids next time!

beautiful woods setting! we were there during the week and practically had the place to ourselves. bed was comfortable, refrigerator and microwave were appreciated. we were there while the kitchen was closed so we plan to head & stopped and got some food we could microwave and enjoyed eating on our front deck. the hotub under the trees was amazing!

My grandson and his wife were very pleased with the cabin. They enjoyed the stay and said it was very clean and comfortable. Since Airbnb provides a host with space to detailed instructions, guest obligations, IDs, and pics; I was surprised to be asked in a separate communication from management to provide IDs and pics, to sign off on rules, and to assume legal obligations. Never had to do this before any where in the world that I used Airbnb. Terry
