Beautiful basement , very comfortable bed, everything spotless, will definitely stay there again

This place was very nice. The bus into the city was right there making it so easy to travel back and forth each day. And our host was very responsive whenever we had a question. And the neighborhood felt safe. We walked late night (5 minutes) to Hamilton Park for an amazing view of the NY skyline. Would recommend this place!

It is quite a drive from NYC because of traffic, but the house is big and the neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe! The house is beautiful and clean and very accommodating!

Defina was amazing! We had issues with the place with some of the electricity and she helped us immediately as well as was quick in responding. She was even kind enough to give us a return on a credit for the issue. The breakfast was awesome and more than expected. More than enough for the entire family. Only reason there were some stars were not filled was because the neighborhood was quite dangerous. Don’t walk around the area, straight in and out from the uber to the house.

We stayed here with my parents and toddler. The master room was big enough to share with toddler bed. The space was clean and all the beds were comfortable. Great location walking distance to the boardwalk and the beach.

Stayed for 1 month and had a good experience. Communicative host. Spacious, well provisioned, and clean accommodation. Great location, walking distance to downtown Montclair and Bay St. train station. Very helpful to have a dedicated parking spot behind the unit. The beautiful park across the street was an added bonus.

Great little apartment with easy access to NYC. Short walk to may restaurants and 2 bus stops to take you to NJ Transit station. Very clean, exactly as described in pictures. Host was very responsive to questions about transportation, restaurants, etc. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our three nights here. It’s a lovely place, with spacious rooms filled with light from large windows. Each room has thoughtfully chosen, comfortable and well-placed furniture, with no feeling of clutter. Antoinette’s, a wonderful bakery, is a short walk down the hill for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Just behind the house there’s an entrance to a wonderful, shady trail with views of the Hudson. Nicole and Mike are gracious hosts who communicate very well.

I would definitely book this place again if I travel to New York! One min walk from the LIRR train station and easy to get to Manhattan and other locations. Garden is so clean and sooo peaceful. House was absolutely big and beautiful. Clean house, amazing garden with a hot tub. (I didn’t want to leave). William offered to make breakfast and will ask if you need anything and will always be there to help you. I enjoyed chatting with him. Such a great man!! A great host, very helpful and so kind! After my last airbnb cancelled only 5 days before the stay, I was in a panic when I reached out to William. Booking was a little confusing, but once we were able to figure everything out this stay was 100% worth it. Having a true bed & breakfast was amazing! The bed slept 2, and the 2 pull out couches slept the the other 2 in our group comfortably (4 adults total). We had an easy late check-in, the place was super clean and adorable with the whole basement to ourselves. Water pressure in the shower = divine. We slept in, had a wonderful breakfast prepared by William, and were able to get ready and leave a little before our noon check-out. 10/10, we would stay with William again!

David's place was great. It was very comfortable and was such a great home base for my busy trip.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed here and, once again, was the perfect place to stay. Close to Seton Hall and our kid's home but far enough away you don't have to deal with college kids craziness. Art and Libby were extremely accommodating, to the point that we were able to have an extra car on the property filled with our kid's belongings for the final move out

Stayed here for five days and it was amazing! I felt right at home. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Ron was amazing and even let me check in early. I would definitely stay here again!

What a gem in the middle of Manhattan. It's like a grown up dorm room, everyone has their own wee private space with a very comfortable twin size bed with a towel provided. The shared gender specific bathroom was spotless and easy to take a shower. Then on top of all that a vegetarian breakfast bar is provided with an impressive variety of food on offer. Honestly the best value I've ever seen anywhere let alone Manhattan. It'll be my go to spot for future trips to NYC .

I was lucky enough to get a room here last minute and even more lucky to get the Amazon room. Super cosy. Main light brightens the room tremendously with pure bright white light. Also lamp with dimmer by the bed with usb ports was convenient and a nice touch. Love the blackout shades, got some really good sleep. The bed was very was heavenly and very big. The smart TV was exception quality also very big and seemed more so than the pics. Great space to move around in, lovely welcoming gifts. The continental breakfast was better than most hotels. I wanted to toast my cinnamon raisin bagel, I used the air fryer and forgot I had a toaster in the room😆 My only complaint is that it wasn’t available for more days after, really enjoyed my night there. Also the hosts were very responsive and quick to message me back everything I asked, so accommodating. Close distance to trains.

One of the highlights was the delightful breakfast they prepared for us: fresh bagels with cream cheese and jam, accompanied by coffee and warm, even frothy milk—a perfect start to our mornings. Their home was just right for us—comfortable, cozy, and welcoming. We especially loved spending time in the charming outdoor space, complete with a table and four chairs, ideal for enjoying a quiet moment or a meal al fresco. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Allen and Anne, for making our stay in New York so lovely.
