Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cottage, felt so at home. The garden in particular was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was so clean and well equiped. The location is beautiful but do have to drive to a few things. We did the Curbar walk which is walkable from the cottage and is a lovely walk. We drove to Kinder Scout, Roaches, Luds Church, Hen Cloud and Millers Dale. Our dog loved the cottage, thank you so much we will ne back again 😊

Great little cottage which me and my daughter stayed at for 2 nights to break up our drive from Edinburgh to Essex. Clean and tidy. Garden was cute but unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind Tony’s. We did manage to drive to Mam Tor and walk up and then went to Buxton. We did visit the Olive tree too in the village.

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

The Old Timber Store was everything and more, a gorgeous little gem nestled in the Derbyshire Hills. The property itself was tastefully decorated with beautiful furnishings (I’ve definitely taken some inspiration for my own home!), and the location was lovely! The amenities in the village were wonderful and the property was so close to Haddon Hall and Chatsworth - was really easy to nip back and forth with our 6 month old daughter. A wonderful stay with lots of gorgeous walks, if you’re thinking about booking this place - do it!

We had a lovely stay at Ed and Charlottes, the perfect spot to explore from. The cottage was spotless and exactly as listed with lovely scenery and stocked with the essentials for our stay we were even treated to a delicious bowl of fresh strawberries on our final morning. The place was easy to find and the prearrival instructions easy to follow and had really helpful information on local taxis and places to eat nearby perfect for our stay. Excellent property, fantastic location, great local pub, lovely walks! Jo was an excellent host. The one hiccup was checking in, we didn't have access to the code for the key lock on arrival. The app said contact the 'host', so we did. The problem was, 'Jo' was on her hols too, so not immediately responsive. Jo said this was an issue she had not experienced before, but was able to sort the problem immediately. We couldn't have asked for more than that. Thank you for letting us stay at your home Jo.

Lee and her partner were so friendly and helpful, she suggested places given the weather which we greatly appreciated & meant we saw more in the area than initially planned. Their place is so cosy and homely, it has everything you need for time in the Peak District and I would return again as its a great base for exploring the area further and place to relax after an adventure. Beautiful apartment right in the centre of Castleton! Lots of restaurants/pubs, small convenience shops, and amazing views right on your doorstep. Marieanne was so friendly and always responsive, and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will have to visit again next time we’re in Castleton!

Had an amazing few days walking around all the peaks, with this beautiful place to come back to in the evenings and play some cards and go to the recommended pubs. Really friendly host with lots of good recommendations. Will defo be visiting again! Thank you for a great trip.

The flat is lovely, exactly as described, clean, well designed, and with everything we needed. The location is ideal for walking into Buxton and also for wider travel around Derbyshire. We’d definitely recommend Andrew’s accommodation and would stay again.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay at Three Roofs. The apartment had enough furnishings/supplies to feel at home, and the location was amazing with loads of amenities within a short walkable distance. The host (Daniel) was very helpful and friendly, as were all the rest of the staff in the café. Something worth noting is the parking space is comfortable and safe for an average sized hatchback (which we have), but I would suggest parking elsewhere if you have a larger/4x4/utility vehicle, otherwise it will likely become an obstruction to neighbouring residents/facilities. That said, if you don't own a large vehicle and you are looking to stay in this area, then I would recommend this listing without hesitation! :)

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

The flat was pristine in every respect. Nothing could have been better. When a light bulb blew in the toilet, I messaged Elizabeth and, even though she was away on holiday herself, she immediately came back to me and gave me access to the locked cupboard where I found a new light bulb and replaced it myself. This is an outstanding Airbnb for anyone wanting to explore this lovely town. I give it 11/10. We did notice that the handrail down the outside steps to the property was broken. The steps are steep so, whoever is responsible for maintaining that area should get that fixed. Also we wondered if the wall socket just behind the lounge door was working. My wife tried charging her phone from it and it didn’t seem to charge. Maybe Elizabeth might want to check it. We’ll be back. Well done Elizabeth. You are a professional and thoughtful host. Thanks. The flat is really cozy and has all the amenities that one would need. Jill and her son, Marcus took care of everything. I needed few things and they arranged it for me promptly. Also on the first day they welcomed me with breakfast and flowers which I thought was a really sweet gesture. Dronfield is a great place to stay and the neighbourhood is beautiful as well. I would highly recommend Jill’s place, primarily for their great hospitality.

whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

A lovely stay in Wirksworth and so glad that we booked this place!! The décor throughout is lovely and boutique style with a very cosy and homely atmosphere. We stayed here for 4 nights and wished we’d booked for a couple more as there’s plenty to do in the local area. Angus was very responsive and on the first evening sent a message to make sure we had checked-in all okay, which was a nice touch. Only recommendation that I can find is to make sure you take some kitchen roll & surface spray as these little things can easily get forgotten when visiting places as this isn’t supplied. All in all, would love to visit again!

stayed for a total of 5 nights, spotlessly clean and space large enough for 2 people. off street parking, so quiet, well stocked fridge with jams milk etc. I really liked the bedside table that included to USB charging points. will definitely stay again when I am next visiting

We had a fantastic stay at Litton Mill – the apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything (and more) that we needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The location is perfect – right beside the Monsal Trail and central to so many beautiful walks and villages. We especially recommend the walk to Monsal Head along the trail, then up the hill by the tunnel to a café with delicious treats and a cosy pub. A truly memorable stay – we’d happily return.
