It is about 800 meters (10-15 minutes' walk) to central Skärhamn where you will find restaurants, grocery store, shopping, the watercolor museum, swimming areas, pharmacy, liquor store. You have your own private backside with lovely patios and a large lawn for playing. The plot is fenced, so it's perfect if you have children and a dog. There is also a private entrance and parking for guests. On the farm in the host's house, there is a labrador and 2 cats.

Wonderful cottage with a patio that has ocean views

We rent out our cottage, which is a real gem all year round. The location is perfect with a 5-10 minute walk to saltwater swimming and nice viewpoints. By car, you can get to Marstrand in 20 minutes and to Gothenburg in 35 minutes and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated in the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a sunroom with a balcony that has sea views. The house is suitable for families with children, friends and couples. Maximum 4 adults but more if they are children.

Welcome to an extraordinary place to stay. We have just finished building our fantastic guest house on the beautiful island of Tjörn in Bohuslän. The house is located 500 meters from the sea with a steep hill down to a swimming area with beach and rocks. It is close to Rönnäng and the ferry to Åstol and Dyrön. On Klädesholmen, there is the cozy restaurant Salt och Sill. It is 15 minutes by car to Skärhamn and, among other things, the Nordic Watercolor Museum. Plenty of hiking trails and other activities.
