Wonderful cottage with a patio that has ocean views

We rent out our cottage, which is a real gem all year round. The location is perfect with a 5-10 minute walk to saltwater swimming and nice viewpoints. By car, you can get to Marstrand in 20 minutes and to Gothenburg in 35 minutes and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated in the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a sunroom with a balcony that has sea views. The house is suitable for families with children, friends and couples. Maximum 4 adults but more if they are children.

The cottage on the island

At the far end of the Västerhavet is the island of Tjörnekalv. You can easily get there by bus and/or train from Gothenburg. By car, you park in Rönnäng and take the ferry to the island. Around the island there is the possibility of saltwater swimming, climbing mountains, catching crabs, experiencing species-rich nature. There are no stores on the island so you need to bring the supplies you need. You can order groceries from Dyröboden. They arrive by ferry the following day. There is a big room with a large sofa for hanging out with the family or friends or just enjoying the fantastic view. On the first floor there is a large kitchen with a dining area and a sofa for relaxing or socialising. On this floor there is a large bathroom. In the basement there is another bathroom. Garden is beautiful.
