Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen tijd gehad. Een heerlijk huis en geweldig zwembad. Lekker rustig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patrick heeft ons geweldig geholpen toen we pech hadden met de auto. Echt mensen waar je op kunt bouwen. We komen heel graag terug.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

We had a brilliant stay! Tosha and Robert were absolutely fantastic — friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and set in gorgeous surroundings. They went above and beyond to accommodate our 18-month-old, providing a stair gate, cot, and high chair, which made everything so much easier for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

This was one of the most amazing, if not the most amazing, air bnb experiences I have ever had. First, the location is incredible. You feel like you were placed in the middle of an ethereal countryside with nothing but rolling hills, the sound of birds, a gentle breeze and an occasional hello from the hosts smiling sweet dog Ella. Second, the house itself is exactly like the pictures on the listing, if not more beautiful in person. You can tell Sara has worked as a designer because the interior decor is stunning. Everything is so comfortable and clean and forces you into a state of relaxation immediately. Lastly, Sara herself is an angel. She will do anything in her power to make sure your stay is as peaceful and stress free as possible. I have never had a more helpful yet non-invasive host on Airbnb. If you are looking for a magical retreat into the gorgeous French countryside I couldn’t recommend this place more. I would plan a trip back to France simply for this air BnB. 1000/10!!

On a passé une semaine reposantes. Endroit paisible, belle maison en pierres avec grand (très grand) jardin et piscine. Literie confortable, tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner, les indispensables bébé à notre disposition (lit, baignoire, table à langer, jeux), lieux très propres. Hôtes gentils, avenants, amicaux. On a même eu droit à des légumes de leur maraîchage bio! Boulangerie à 2 minutes en voiture, à 15 min de Perigueux.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée, avec la proposition d’office de quitter un peu plus tard le logement que prévu car non loué le lendemain (je le précise car c’est super agréable et ça nous a beaucoup dépanné!). Le logement est impeccable, une literie royale et très confortable qui nous a fait regretter de ne pas rester plus longtemps. Tout le nécessaire est fourni dans la maison, vous n’avez qu’à poser vos valises. A l’extérieur, un immense jardin et une très belle piscine à disposition, qui sont plus qu’appréciables le matin au réveil. Encore un immense merci pour votre accueil, vous méritez vos nombreux avis très positifs ! Une belle adresse à retenir et un gite dans lequel vous pouvez aller les yeux fermés.

We had the best week in this beautiful house. The outlook and the facilities were perfect and Lili was a fantastic host. Would recommend.

La maison est magnifique, extrêmement bien équipée, et dans un environnement paisible et agréable (la nature entoure la maison donc soyez tout de même conscient qu’il est possible de croiser 2-3 insectes !). Nous avons été accueillies par Nico, un hôte très amical et disponible. Nous recommandons vivement !

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

Notre séjour a été très agréable, nous en gardons un excellent souvenir ! Aucune mauvaise surprise car tout était conforme aux descriptions et instructions ; au contraire, nous étions ravis de la qualité d'accueil proposée avec ce charmant logement, qui est joliment décoré et agencé, très bien équipé à tous niveaux (intérieur et extérieur). La literie est très confortable. Anne a été très réactive, et flexible sur notre horaire de départ. Tout était parfait !

Joëlle est une hôte très réactive et arrangeante. Nous avons passés un superbe weekend dans son logement. Je le recommande !

Un joli coin reposant avec des hôtes très accueillants et très gentils, idéal pour se dépayser, se ressourcer. Tellement hâte de revenir me reposer dans ce magnifique logement décoré avec soin et très bon goût (cocooning). La piscine privatisée est vraiment géniale et donne l'impression d'être en vacance à l'autre bout de la France. Hâte de pouvoir revenir avec les enfants car une très jolie chambre pour eux est aménagée et très cosy. Egalement tout le confort est prévu pour nos amis à 4 pattes ce qui est un gros plus et on se sent vraiment super bien accueillis. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés sans soucis 😊

Je n’ai pas grand chose à dire mais si je devais résumer en un mot je dirais Parfait !!! Je recommande à 100% . Pour le logement très cosy et de très bon goût !! Et pour l’accueil très chaleureux et réactif !! Si nous passons dans le coin on sait déjà où loger !! Merci beaucoup ☺️

Une parenthèse enchantée !!! Comment vous dire !! C est un paradis sur terre , Céline et Christel sont adorables. Une communication très facile et très agréable. Ils ont su faire un havre de paix qui vous emmène dans un univers hors du temps pour vous reposer . Tout est fait avec goût dans le moindre détail . C est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Et la terrasse est très agréable pour les repas et la détente. Si vous aimez la nature et la tranquillité , réservez vite . Encore un grand merci à vous pour se moment.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

A most excellent stay, comfortable, quiet, great pool, good facilities, great location for us, the provided breakfast was way better than expected, we would highly recommend The Grange and both Ian and Carol as hosts, superb value for money, and an ideal rural Frenchland location (pothole free roads yay), cheers!
