The Angelus "Millefiori"

Mijn ruimte is vlakbij My 15th century house is in the medieval quarter of Chinon, within minutes of town center, riverfront and castle and all historic sites. Excellently placed for Loire Valley adventure!. You’ll love being transported back in time in a house that has been inhabited for over 600 years. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.. Je zult genieten van mijn plek vanwege You have your own private bathroom - it is really more like a hotel. Very secure and quiet building. I or Marcel will meet you and get you settled...please be aware, this is a very old building, there are lots of stairs! We will always help with luggage when we can. You have a key to your room and an access code to the entrance which is actually on "rue Pot de Chambre" - Chamberpot Street. The breakfast room is open during the morning only if you choose to have breakfast (8 euros for continental breakfast). We will try to be around to help you in any way possible. Marcel does not speak English, so if you do not speak French you will need to get a hold of me. Who doesn't love cobblestone streets and gingerbread houses? Chinon is a real medieval town and was a favorite of the Plantagenet kings. The Templars were headquartered here and were imprisoned in Chinon castle where you can still see their graffitti. Joan of Arc stayed in Chinon trying to convince the king that her cause was worthy...and don't forget the wonderful wine, Chinon is a wine producing terroir with its own appellation, and plenty of excellent cheeses and other local delicacies to go with it. The River Vienne is a tributary of the Loire, and many castles are within a 1 hour car ride. The train station is only a 12 minute walk - I know because I do it all the time. If you need a ride somewhere we can probably work something out. As you can imagine, parking in a town with ancient and narrow streets can be tricky. I can give you some pointers and will help you strategize your parking plan (Sundays are free in the "pay" zones for example, and you have to watch out for weekly market day which is Thursday). The bay windows overlook a large terrace (with possibility of BBQ) overlooking the 10,000 m² plot that goes down to the fishing pond. Outdoor games for children and large courtyard with carport.

A little fifteen minutes from the Center Parck near Trois Moutiers, this cottage can accommodate a family of 5 people on 2 bedrooms ( 1 for the couple, the other with 3 beds). It is located on a beautiful classified site with hiking and wood path. This cottage is located, in the photo, on the left (totally autonomous) side of the farmhouse. Proximity: Chinon, medieval town and its fortress, Fontevrault, its abbey, and the castles of the Loire ( Azay le Rideau).

This trendy spot offers lots of charming details. Our house is 5 minutes from the A10 highway. Located at the gates of the Loire Valley castles and the Loire by bike. You can visit our beautiful department with its historical heritage. We also have a little Yorkshire and a female cat. Other animals are present in our goose hen house and a rooster that may make a little noise in the morning Breakfast is included in the price of the room
