Our cottage is located at the bottom of our garden. This completely independent annex (with private access) of our home is ideally designed to accommodate friends and travelers. You will find all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay in this quiet area on the banks of the Cher, a 5-minute walk to the city center, in the heart of the Loire Valley castles, on the Saint Jacques de Compostela route, close to Tours and close to the exhibition park (Grand Hall).

La maison Carré - romantic house on river, 2p

The former ferry house has been completely restored and converted into a vacation home for 2 people, since July 2022. Beautiful setting next to the river, l'Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The house has its own garden, and there is a private beach on the estate. The barque is ready on the river, wonderful swimming in front of the door or further on at the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.

We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac. The outbuilding where the studio is located has a very large courtyard where you can easily park. It is possible to store your bikes in a closed room. We can lend our bikes subject to availability. We are very close to the Loire à Vélo route along the Cher. All the shops in our village (2 bakeries, grocery store, butcher, deli, pharmacy, tobacco shop, coffee...) as well as a market on Saturday morning.

On the Loire bike trail, this old 1884 tuffeau inn, overlooking the Loire listed here at UNESCO, is less than 20 km from 5 prestigious castles, in the Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Natural Park. Former fishing and hemp trading village, the Loire fish restaurant welcomes you just a stone's throw away. The bicycle rental-repairer in the same building as well as the canoe club offer beautiful walks in these authentic and wild landscapes.

In summer (June 15 / September 15), you can enjoy access to its heated above-ground pool (8.50 m * 4.50 m) and soak up the sun on the deckchairs of the small terrace or the shade of its pergola under beautiful umbrella pines.
