Holiday rentals with lake access in Touraine

The stay was great, it is an authentic cottage on the property where the owners also live. The house is cozy and rural and very neat and clean. It is very rural but at a good distance from all amenities and there is plenty to do if you want, many beautiful castles nearby and beautiful towns. The garden and pool are beautiful and we enjoyed this very much, as well as the sound of all the birds around us. Anne and Yvon are very attentive, friendly and helpful owners who are there for you at all times should you need this, on the other hand, they also respect your privacy. Absolutely recommended!

My wife, our daughter and I had a great time at this accommodation! Bernadette and her husband were very welcoming, responsive and provided useful instructions. The house is spacious, with the right furniture and nicely decorated. The top castles and many others are within 1 hour of driving. There is also an Auchan supermarket in the same village. We highly recommend the place and would gladly return given the opportunity!

Good place to stop off at on our travels

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It is particularly well-equipped, well-furnished and tastefully decorated. We were very well received and well advised on the activities we wanted to do.

Clean and well appointed accommodation. For a weekend with close family near the castle of Chenonceau and the zoo of Beauval, and a small lake with games just a stone's throw from the accommodation loved by our children.

The gite “Le clos des mésanges” is cozy and beautifully located. It is located at the end of a small side street, so it is very quiet there. In the morning you can hear the birds chirping. There is a courtyard covered with glyzinia, where you can sit nicely and also harvest herbs. Even a ping pong table is available. Cisseaux is a great starting point for things to do to the “Castles of the Loire”. The fairytale castle chenonceau is in the immediate vicinity. We explored a lot in the area with the bikes. We were able to store these directly at the house. Marie-Laure is a very charming friendly host who was always responsive to our concerns and stood by us with tips. We would rent the accommodation again anytime! Thank you so much!

Quiet accommodation close to Tours. Jean-Marie is very welcoming. A little more of the bakery open this weekend on site. Jean Marie lent us a high chair, a bathtub and a crib. great when traveling with a small one

We were very satisfied with this short stay at the end of June in this impeccable, pleasant apartment, and even if the kitchen area is very small, it is very well equipped... nothing is missing... perfect for 2 people. It is located in the center, near the town hall and yet very quiet... 50 m from the Loire with the possibility of a pleasant walk or bike ride... well located also to visit the region: troglodyte villages, castles... etc. In short, a good place to stay.

Sandra's rental is nice, very quiet, 20 minutes' drive to some beautiful castles. The bedding is quality and the accommodation was very clean. The terrace is nice, spacious and the pool is in direct proximity. I recommend it!

Paul and Irini are wonderful hosts. The property is special and they have created a space that is beautifully decorated. The cottage has been renovated to the time period and also has all of the modern amenities for comfort. Paul is very attentive to detail and offered amazing recommendations for restaurants as well as suggestions for visiting the many beautiful Chateaus. We were sad to leave and will definitely stay again when we go back to the Loire Valley. Amboise is a picturesque town with great food and shopping. There are activities for everyone! The property has lovely gardens and the terraces are private and beautiful.

Pam and Ingemar were just so nice ! They looked after us so well ( delicious home made bread ,food in the fridge) and their cottage is very confortable, in the middle of nature. It's peaceful and quite. Wonderful to rest. The zoo is roughly 8 minutes driving. We hope to come back !

We took advantage of the place for one night. The house is so charming and so comfortable. The house is decorated with great taste. The garden is a place suspended in time by its atypical decoration. A real little museum. Just like the house, the hosts are welcoming.

Perfect accommodation for a getaway. Alone or with family, in good weather or rainy weather, the atmosphere of this place is ideal for feeling good.
