Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! Without a doubt, one of, if not THE best place we’ve stayed through AirBNB. Our hosts were wonderful and did a great job at translation with us. They were super-friendly and super-responsive. None of my family wanted to leave when our time was up. The quiet location and complete lack of tourists was very welcomed. This stay was exactly what we prefer and enjoy. We would very much like to come back, as there was so. Much more to see and do than what we had time for. OUTSTANDING HOSTS AND PLACE TO STAY!!!

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

Mr. QUESNEL is a welcoming, friendly and respectful host. He informed us about the different shops and the festivities nearby. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and very pleasant to live in. We had a great time with the family. A stay to be repeated without hesitation.

We loved staying at Carine’s lovely home in Bayeux. The house is very comfortable and the garden is beautiful. The house is an excellent base for exploring the D-Day landing beaches as well as further inland in Normandy. Walking into Bayeux is really easy and there’s a lovely bakery only 5 minutes away by foot. Thanks Carine for the great recommendation.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Nothing to complain about, we were more than delighted with our stay. Everything was perfect. They really thought of everything. We'll be back soon...
