Benefits from stunning views over the Afan Valley and located on the Afan Forest Park's low level cycle route 'Y Rheilffordd' (railway in welsh) which runs along the base of the valley. This is a great trail for families with picnic and refreshment stops along the 36km trail. 'Y Rheilffordd' gives easy access to 6 world class trails as well as Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre, Glyncorrwg Visitor Centre and Afan Bike Park.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

This is a really lovely air BnB Gill and Noel are great hosts and very friendly and the property has evening you could need it is very comfortable and Very peaceful. Loved my visits from Bella the cat it was a delight to open the door and see her at the doorstep each morning. very highly recommended I hope to stay again soo.

Great stay – just like the photos! Beautiful views of the Welsh hills. We really enjoyed the Four Waterfalls hike and local quad biking. The property had great amenities, a nice TV, and clean rooms and kitchen. The only minor feedback would be the lack of some kitchen gadgets, like a coffee plunger – though that’s on us for not checking in advance. Supermarkets like Lidl were easy to access. We’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

Our stay at the COTTAGES was simply wonderful. It was extremely well stocked, spotless, charming, and in a perfect location with easy street parking. We especially enjoyed the back patio which is a perfect place to relax both at the end of the day and for morning coffee or tea. We appreciated the convenience of two full baths - one on each floor. Note that the lockbox used to enter is the one on the right side of the entry door, not the one on the left. We had an extremely memorable and fantastic time at the COTTAGES. Thanks!

what a lovely place! It was spotlessly clean and the outside area was beautiful. We had use of a BBQ and a firepit and there was plenty of seating options plus a hidden hammock with great views. The bed was super comfy, the shower was lovely and we had all the cutlery, glasses etc that you could want. We would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Andrew for a wonderful stay and for the little extras you left for us.

Sarah’s house was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Check in was straightforward and the location was perfect for my family visit. I’d happily book again! My only request would be for a mirror in the bathroom (for shaving) and perhaps a full length mirror on the landing. Other than that, all good!
