Perfect for a couple who like skiing since it is in the middle between Hafjell, Kvitfjell and Skei. Hunderfossen family park, Øyer amusement park, Hafjell gondola lift is a great experience. In Fåvang you can see the ice cathedral, a frozen waterfall. The Road Museum in Øyer has free entrance, where you can see many historical vehicles, etc. But most of all, we have many nice nature experiences here in Gudbrandsdalen. Just park all the way up to the bedroom window. Trash is thrown in the gray bin behind the cabin. Have a great vacation😉

There you also have restaurants and a selection of shops. 30 min to shopping malls/shopping center in Lillehammer, 30 min to Lilleputthammer/Hunderfossen, 15 min to Aulestad, and 50 min to the troll pots in Helvete, to mention a few. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
