The Little Red Schoolhouse is located in a remote and serene area of Allamakee County. It is steps away from one of Iowa’s natural trout streams Patterson Creek, the recreational playground of the Upper Iowa River, and over 1,000 acres of wild prairie and woodlands managed by the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.
