Lovely cosy well equipped lodge for family of 4 & cocker spaniel. Lodge was clean & had a comfortable stay. Great location on site & lucky to have nice weather to sit out on decking. Good facilities on site & heated pool was fab. Short walk to Brockhole & good location for drive to Ambleside & Grasmere Would recommend. Thankyou

Lovely accommodation, had literally everything you could need! Very clean, great location, spacious and relaxing. Able to use your own paddle boards on the lake. Best equipped accommodation we have ever stayed in. Mark is such a helpful and informative host. Couldn’t fault our stay

Me and my partner stayed here Friday - mon and had the most amazing time. Nathalie was so welcoming and helped us find a brilliant Sunday roast near by. The interior was stunning we would definitely come back again!

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The whole family are so welcoming & made us feel at ease from the outset. Angela could not have provided more from the thoughtful welcome pack right through to dressing gowns & slippers. The hot tub was amazing & loved by my daughter, she also wanted me to say how much she loved the bed (very comfortable). The lodge & bedroom with bathroom were fully equipped & spotless. It was a pleasure to meet the whole family including the dogs who were so friendly with an added bonus for my daughter who got to play with Angela’s granddaughter. There was nothing more we could have wanted during our stay from the accommodation through to the surroundings. Thank you again we will be back x

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful lodge. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning, we couldn’t get enough of it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. It felt peaceful and private, just what we needed. Thank you for such a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Very clean and well appointed lodge, which was ideal for the needs of 4 separate guests. Hot Tub and Pool table were an added bonus! Recommended.

The Burrow is an absolute gem, set away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns & cities. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. We woke up to the birds singing their dawn chorus, and even heard a few owls after sunset. We must have arrived during frog spawning season, as there were hundreds of baby frogs making their way across the gravel track in front of the pod. That in itself was an incredible sight. It has everything you could possibly need (including tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc, cooking herbs and spices and a little bag in the bathroom incase you’ve forgotten an essential item). The hot tub was incredible! We needed more fuel for the burner and a hand getting the fire to stay stable - in less than 15mins Kate had it all sorted, and we had a lovely hot bath, that was still hot when we checked it before bed, approx 4hrs after it had got up to temperature! Everything was spotless, the decor was stunning and Kate has thought of every little detail. Perfect in every way. Thank you.

Thankyou Louise for a wonderful stay. The lodge is in a great position on the site, with lovely views. It was clean, comfortable, the bed was super comfy and so was the sofas. Thankyou Louise, we look forward to staying again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay, the pod was great it had everything we needed and kept us warm during the very rainy nights we stayed there. The only downside was the road getting down to the pods as our car wasn't so suitable for the off road which we didn't realise (our own fault for having a very low car and not completely reading the description). But other than that the stay was amazing and we will 100% be back in a different car! Thank you for making the pod so welcoming and allowing dogs!!

Really lovely place to stay! Such a calm space and close to lots of amenities. The host’s communication service was so helpful & we were able to sort early check in which was kind!

We had a lovely stay at Marion’s place! The pod was in a beautiful area and the facilities were all immaculate, with toilets and showers being a few steps away from the pod, and there being a hob and fridge freezer in the pod. Marion was very responsive and helped us with our queries

Just back from a wonderful few days at Paul’s place! It is in the ideal location just a few minutes from Lake Windermere, set in a peaceful location. Listening to the birds and ducks was wonderful…even the odd RAF jet didn’t disturb us. The weather was perfect and as this was my families first visit to the Lake District, we crammed in as much as we could. We will certainly be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Brenda’s pod! The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and full of peaceful farm vibes, which made for a really relaxing getaway with the family. We especially enjoyed the BBQ area and spent a lovely evening cooking and chatting outdoors. The pod itself was cozy and well-equipped, and Brenda was a fantastic host,very responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, nature-filled setting!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay! The place was very cozy, spotlessly clean, and really lovely overall. It had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely weekend in this beautiful lodge, weather was good and loved how the doors opened right up, perfect for outside living, a few drinks at night and breakfast on the decking in the morning. Loved the extra touches flowers, doggy basket with towels, treats etc.. was very home to home. Will definately like to return in the future.. thank you 😊

The cabin itself is lovely, just enough space for 2 people. short walk to the lake if you want to do a bit of bird spotting. very close to the M6 so are able to put into the Dale's or Lake District. cabin was clean and tidy, fresh towels left in the bedroom. plenty of equipment in the kitchen. we stayed for 2 nights just to finish our holiday off and we felt safe and welcome. Had an amazing stay at the pod! The place was spotless when we arrived, very private and peaceful. Can’t express how nice the pods are will defiantly book again but for a full weekend

The Moon Cottage was just great. From booking, to staying and departing it was blissfully easy and they were so friendly! They kept in touch incase we needed anything (luckily we didnt) and always responded very quickly to answer a few questions we had before we arrived. The cottage was just beautiful, it was absolutely spotless and decorated quirky and cute 😍. There was everything we needed and more to really make ourselves at home. 10 out of 10 we would recommend to stay at the Moon Cottage. If we are ever back in this area, this will be the first place we book !

I was partaking in the 10k swim at lake Windermere so Paul’s place was the perfect location. Comfortable, clean and spacious. Paul Lodge might have inspire us to get our own one in Scotland 🙂

Beautiful peaceful cabin for a getaway from the busy life. Sheep can be seen around and overall a very cosy and comfortable stay. Definitely need to drive to the location though, wouldn’t know how to get around without a car as most amenities are a few mins drive away. Lovely stay and would recommend for a weekend 💕🐑

We had a lovely weekend at Badger's Way. The lodge is beautiful, well-maintained, and set in an ideal location. The holiday park is in a beautiful spot in the hills of the Lake District, and has a great play area for kids. Judith was communicative and helpful, and she was quick to resolve a small issue we had at check-in. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Badger’s Way to anyone looking for a relaxing Lake District getaway.

We had an incredible stay at the Roost. The perfect relaxing getaway. Most of the time, the only sounds we could hear were sheep, chickens and the sound of a trickling stream. The house itself was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Shirley couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable, and I hope we get the opportunity to visit again I'm the future.

Amazing beck and lake front location. Outside space is fabulous and we sat and watched the world go by for hours - mainly ducks and the odd heron! So quiet and peaceful and night and waking up to have the deck view of the lake was really special. Thanks Martin and Sarah you’ve got a lovely place in a fab spot.

We had a lovely stay! The summer house was very clean and tidy and didnt want to leave to the point that we stayed an extra night. Its hidden out the way so your privacy is guaranteed. The area was beautiful and the hosts were an amazing couple and so friendly we really did feel at home. When we finally left and checked out of the summer house the hosts didnt rush us off the premises and offered us to chill on their terrace area for a cuppa before our very long drive home. I would highly recommend this place, please don't hesitate and book it. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay so lovely x
