Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tulare County

Beautiful place ! Very beautiful and peaceful! I would like to come back! And it is so close to the sequoias park, so it is so comfortable! Villa is very comfortable, and have a nice view! Amazing place !

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

The location is beautiful, resting in the hills and near the lake. Absolutely gorgeous. The house is older, but well taken care of and we had everything we needed. Host was extremely helpful, quick to respond and proactive. Would stay there again if in the area. One note, they have internet at the house, but surrounding area does not have cell service, so map yourself where you need to go before you leave ;)

Arriving & staying at Joanie's place is like entering Garden of Eden. Just seeing the wide smile & "ohh-ahh" from my parents who are visiting from a city country, they couldn't believe their eyes seeing real oranges on the trees!! Thanks Joanie! for making this the most memorable experience for my parents !! Bestest of Hostess !

Great overall experience. The place is adorable and located less than a mile from gate to Sequoia NP. Lori was very friendly and responsive. Generous basket of “goodies”. Amenities were as described. Enjoyed having breakfast at the picnic table or sitting in the chairs outside our window overlooking “Lola’s Meadow” with deer, squirrels, wild turkey’s and birds. Met Lola’s husband, John, as he filled the bird feeders. Would definitely stay here again when in the area and would recommend to couples who just want a short getaway. Ate one night at the Gateway restaurant 1/4 mile down the road. Nice table for two outside overlooking the Kaweah.

This is our second year staying in this house. We love the cottage decor and pool. Also dog friendly, and they clean pool daily. Thank you Jeanette for being an amazing host.

Denise and Jack were great hosts and the house was well decorated with lots of amenities. Felt so peaceful and right at home. The hosts kept us complementary wine and eggs so we didn’t have to worry about eggs for breakfast. The house was fenced at the backyard for our pet to run around or soak in the sun. The mornings were so beautiful sipping a cup of coffee outside on the deck listening to the sound of birds and animals. So many variety of birds that visit the backyard along with rabbits, squirrels and the neighbors horses. It was so relaxing to come home after a long hike and soak in the hot tub. Very convenient location to visit both Kings Canyon and Sequoia parks. All in all it was a memorable stay. Would highly recommend their place.

Thank you Vicki for allowing us to stay at your humble abode. We couldn’t of asked for anything better. There was enough space for grandson to be running around and explore every part of the house. The rooms were great! The showers were AMAZING! We did enjoy ourselves and if we ever have to come out your way we definitely will be coming back.

The place was amazing! My family & I enjoyed it very much. There were many activities for children to do indoors and the adults enjoyed the treadmill. ☺️ there was ample space. We would love to go back. Everything was perfect.

Tanya's place was a great spot for our weekend trip to Kings Canyon. The pool was perfect for the hot afternoons and the house stayed nice and cool with the AC. Plenty of kitchen amenities made cooking meals for our group nice and easy. We were a group of 6, though a group of 9 could get a bit cozy with the 3 beds and pull out couch. Would definitely visit again!

This was a great place to stay! Pam made sure that we checked in and are comfortable with our stay. She was fast in her communications. The place is big enough for a family of 4 and kids loved playing board games. The TV in living room has Netflix account so you can watch that. Kitchen is well stocked (though we did not find table salt). It is easy to buy missing items from a nearby grocery store. The Pizza Factory place is open until late; most of the restaurants close by 5 pm while some others are open until 9 pm so do check them out before you go there. Drive to Sequoia national park gate is 15 min. Overall we had a good time at Pam's place and will recommend this place!

You can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape or a change of scenery close to home, I’d highly recommend this spot. I’m already looking forward to coming back!
