Carey was an absolutely amazing host! Her place near the charming village of Petroio, just 10 minutes from Pienza, was the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Tuscany. The house was clear and equipped with everything we needed. Carey was incredibly warm, helpful, and attentive – her local tips made our stay even more special. Niccolo’s place exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The location is so close to Florence (30 minutes) and yet you are transported to a completely different world. We are glad we didn’t rent a car and had Niccolo pick us up in Florence and drive us whenever needed. The pictures do not do this place justice. Absolute perfection. The apartment was clean, comfortable and just right for our family of four (two teenagers and two adults). The pool area is much larger and serene than the pictures show and the views are breathtaking. Perhaps most of all, the meals we had on the property were the finest we had during our two week visit to Italy. Our only regret was not staying for several days more. We are excited to return.
