18th century barn in beautiful Devon countryside

BethanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful barn for my husband birthday. Georgina was very welcoming and very responsive with messages and extremely helpful enabling me to plan his birthday trip. Georgina provided clear instructions of how to find the barn and met us on arrival. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay, which is just what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed being able to sit out on the balcony watching the sheep in the field. The barn was immaculate and had everything you needed. I especially enjoyed having a nice relaxing bath listening to some music on the mirror speaker. We would recommend anyone to stay in the beautiful barn, you definitely wouldn’t be disappointed.

Cornwall Beach House - Panoramic Sea Views

BobbyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

Holt Cottage Nr Tavistock cottage with river views

SarahRating, 5 starstoday
Catherine was a fabulous host. She welcomed us in person and nothing was too much trouble for her. We discovered she had left delicious homemade scones with jam and cream, as well as milk, cereal and other essentials. The view from the cottage was breathtaking, the bed was very comfy and our stay gave us the most relaxing few days. The pub did great food, and was a stones throw away. We would love to return and highly recommend it, if you are looking for a restful break.

Tallat Barn. Perfect for a relaxing break.

AlexRating, 5 stars2 days ago
What an absolute treasure. I booked for a week on short notice (the evening of) and couldn't have been happier with the experience. What a gem. There is a lot to do nearby, well facilitated by Trevor's local knowledge and guidance. Walking through the wild horses on the Moors at dusk was a highlight. I took full advantage of Tallat Barn - coffees on the hill in the morning, fresh veg from the gardens, a Pilates class with Sarah, hikes down the forest trail, fresh meals in the kitchen, wild dipping in the on-site stream. I never locked up and left all the doors and windows open during my stay - the place has that kind of vibe. I really welcome the chance to return and continue exploring the area. No idea if the TV works, though, I never bothered to try turning it on.

3 Bedroomed detached Cottage in 16 acres

JadeRating, 5 starstoday
We have just got home after staying 5 nights in paradise. We come as a family of 4 (7&4yr old) and a silly Grandad. The cottage itsself is simply, outstanding. Beautiful, spacious, clean and the bedding is bliss. We had everything we could need and more. The grounds are out of this world. So much space to explore from a stream, pond, woodland, barn (equipt with seating, table and a honesty bar). My children ran wild, swung on every tree swing but what really made it for us is my daugher running through the wild flower, shouting 'i feel free'. That moment was priceless and will be a memory of a lifetime. We BBQ'ed most nights. Visited Bude beach, Looe for a boat trip-saw seals and went crabbing and on our last rainy day we exploted Golitha waterfalls. Only advise is that its the atlantic ocean and very cold so take a wetsuit! Back to Tracey and Peter- fantastic hosts. Made us feel at home, gave us loads of info regarding the home, the lands, the locals and the far. Simply the best.

A good start to our break as Jonathan welcomed us with lots of local information and a delicious cream tea. The Cabin is set in lovely grounds with views over the Tamar Valley. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage, with views across the Tamar Valley

Lovely accommodation with everything that you need along with a decking with a gorgeous view. Anna was extremely helpful and responded quickly to our communications. If you prefer not to take the narrow lanes approach Luckett from the A390.
