Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

You can reach Kuopio University Hospital and Savilahti area easily by bus or walk (20 min). Kuopio City Theather, ice hockey arena and swimming hall is next to the apartment. Parking is easy near by. There are 2 beds available for adults and a travel cot with beddings for small child. A highchair and pot is also available when needed.
