Very nice accommodation, a short distance from the groceries Nice address for a few days of visiting the Aoraki /Mount Cook area, Tekapo Lake. Danette was constantly reachable and very responsive . We experienced a breakdown of the gas supply ( so no hot water) and Danette reacted and solved it very quickly. Thank you Yes, let's definitely recommend his place to stay Bernard & Régis

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

We loved our stay at Rachel’s, it was the perfect re-set during our South Island roadtrip. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook a meal. The place was cozy and welcoming. I’d highly recommend!

Great studio in a perfect location. Has everything you need for a short stay. Very clean, great bed and linen. Would highly recommend this place when staying in Lake Tekapo.

We had a great night's stay. very clean & comfortable studio unit. The property is rural but easy to find on GPS and not far from SH1. Gerard & Trish have created a wonderful garden, including native bush, which Gerard showed us around. Nice continental breakfast was also provided, with some of their own produce. Even a couple of Easter eggs as we were there Easter Sunday. Highly recommend.

Lovely spot with everything you need. Perfect location near supermarket & not far to town. House was warm & inviting. Hosts were friendly, helpful & went the extra when we needed to get in earlier. So grateful. We would absolutely stay here again. Spa was such a treat too!

It was perfect for our requirements, loved the quirky art deco decor touches. Generous size rooms, comfy couch. Lots of nostalgia. Recommend the Waimate Bakery for coffee (one block away)

Great house, great location, great host.

Alex's house is on a hillside by Lake Tekapo. The scenery is great, and we can see the lake view of Tekapo. The house is similar to a wooden house, and the decoration is very unique. We like it very much. On the night we came, Tekapo was very cold. Alex turned on the heating for us early, and we felt very warm as soon as we entered the door. ☺️ Alex is also a responsible and careful landlord. He replies quickly and communicates pleasantly. We had a warm night in winter.

The views are even better in person—pictures don’t do it justice! The place was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for anyone looking to relax or explore nature. From peaceful mornings with a hot drink by the window to stargazing at night, every moment felt magical. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with world-class views. We loved our stay at Kakahu lodge. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here, this time it was a work retreat. We made use of the pool, outdoor dining and pizza oven, kitchen with everything you can think of (two dishwashers was so handy), and the open fireplace. Large spaces were perfect for a group and the linen and beds were comfy and high quality. Richard is so helpful and lovely too even ensuring we had plenty of kindling for the pizza oven 😊

Absolutely loved our stay! The apartment is even more stunning in person than in the photos - beautifully styled, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The beddings were soft and clean, and we appreciated the fresh towels and thoughtful amenities throughout. Laura and Sam were responsive and helpful, making check-in a breeze. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay that’s both relaxing and well taken care of!

Listing was as described. Simiin was nice and welcoming. A little thrown off at first by separate hot and cold water sinks at faucets (so hard to get warm water), but soon learned that’s pretty common in NZ. Location was nice, right across street from Lake Tekapo.
