Beachfront holiday rentals in Uggiano La Chiesa

The place is a magic little spot with the most beautiful terrace. The bathing spot was a little challenging (at least in windy autumn conditions) but still beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed big and comfortable and the area calm and picturesque.

We had a great time at Antonio's place. This is the quintessential holiday home! A great sea view, a terrace and a very nice house. We immediately felt good about it. Antonio welcomed us perfectly and was very available. We'll be happy to go back.

A great place to stay if you like it quiet and with a beautiful view of the sea. The amenities and furnishings were good. Communication was always perfect and quick to respond. There were also a few local tips so we didn't miss anything. We would always come back!

Although the apartment is a little spartan – maybe a picture in the bedroom would create some atmosphere, or the sofa could be a little more cozy – we felt very comfortable. The view of the sea is wonderful. A few steps over rugged rocks to the water is wonderful. According to the season, it was very windy and the sea accordingly rough – but in the idyllic bay of Cala dell 'Acquaviva we were still able to bathe fine. Also highly recommended along the coastal road along other bizzarre swimming opportunities, such as Spiaggia e Piscina Naturale di Marina Serra. And in Tricase Porto there is the best cafe...

Couldn’t recommend staying at Beatrice’s place enough. The location and view is absolutely incredible, you could not pick a better place to stay in Otranto. The apartment is oversized and a great spot for a small family. The host is very responsive and so helpful.

Perfect! We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Alessandro was a great host, he arranged a shuttle for us from Lecce to drop us right outside of the front door which is ideal as not sure how we would have got there from the train station. He was waiting for us and gave us a personal tour of the apartment and how everything worked so there was no trying to work it all out on our own. The terrace was an absolute delight! It is in the heart of the old town with many bars and restaurants just steps away which was wonderful! I would highly recommend a stay and hope to go back myself one day.

We loved our stay in this beach house by the sea. Allesandro had made it very comfortable and provided so many extra treats. It was so quiet, relaxing and calm with great restaurants nearby and many beautiful places to visit.

Donato the owner and Sergio who did check in were so friendly and helpful. Anything we needed that wasn’t in the house, they organised. Top spec throughout, perfect location for a 5 min drive to the beach, 10 min drive into town or a perfectly nice 40 min walk to the old town.

Eros was super responsive and helpful during our stay! The apartment is so close to town, an easy 5 minute walk. The apartment is very spacious and in a nice, quite location. Highly recommend!

Absolutely exceptional stay – beyond all expectations! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Paolo was an outstanding host – warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as perfect as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly well taken care of. The villa itself is just amazing – full of character, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. But the real highlight? The view. Absolutely breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice – it’s something you have to see with your own eyes. This place is a hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We had an amazing stay at Francesca’s. We were in contact with Lukas who was extremely helpful, clear and friendly. At check in, Lukas met us and showed us around, he had many local recommendations for us. Throughout the stay he was super responsive and helpful. The first morning we woke up to fresh croissant and pasticciotti!! The house was beautiful, very spacious, full of light and extremely clean. There are many places to sit and many amenities like the pool, outside showers, hammocks and outside BBQ area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

A beautifully decorated house, everything is well thought out in modern comforts. The rooftop terrace is just a little slice of heaven, with a view you can't get enough of and especially precious calm! Finally, we had a thoughtful host! In addition to the attention left, he is very responsive to requests, advises us on things to see, visit or even good restaurant addresses! Thanks again for a week of happiness 🥰😊

We liked the stay in Marco's apartment very much. The view of the sea and the terrace with pool are beautiful. Beds are very comfortable. There is a good beach bar at the beautiful, nearby bay. Castro is just within walking distance. One advantage was the private parking on the property. The communication with Giorgio was quick and uncomplicated.

We had a wonderful stay! 100% recomend and would like to go back. The place is large, clean, near a beautiful beach. All you can need is close by. Book, it’s worth it;)

This house is in a beautiful part of Otranto & you are so close to everything from beaches to restaurants.

Staying at Alessandro’s was perfect for our vacation. It is very peaceful and quiet, the terrasse and private access to the sea were worth ot already. Also it‘s a great location to explore the region from a less touristic starting point. Would have chosen this airbnb again! Alessandro and his father were always there for help, super friendly and the place was more spacious than it looked. Can highly recommend - thank you for everything!

We were perfectly welcomed in English, the apartment was very clean, the mattresses comfortable, close to great beaches and to the center - everything for kitchen and bathroom available, also coffee, wine, drinking water, etc. - Thank you for the beautiful stay to the whole family

It was unique. We enjoyed the seclusion very much. Luckily, we were the only ones. Francesco was always available and Daniela always came by when we needed her. Everything was sparkling clean.
