In the village there are several good restaurants, bars and lovely terraces. The supermarket is 200 meters away. The center of the cozy cheese town of Alkmaar can easily be reached by bus with 20 minutes. A day in Amsterdam is also a possibility. From the train station (Heiloo or Alkmaar) every half hour a train goes to A'dam.

The cities Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are within half an hour's drive. The beach is 8 km away. Pets are welcome in consultation.

This cozy and sunny cottage in Bakkum is on the edge of the dunes and the forest. Within walking distance are various eateries. In 10 minutes by bike, you can reach Castricum aan Zee with a beautiful beach, many terraces, restaurants and water sports. There are 2 folding bicycles at the cottage. You have your own entrance with a small garden and seating area. Parking is available on your own property or parking space across the street. Bedroom is upstairs, accessible via steep stairs.

Het ligt op recreatiepark De Meerparel in de jachthaven van Uitgeest met mogelijkheden om te zeilen, surfen, vissen en zwemmen. De snelweg A9 is goed bereikbaar dus u bent zo in Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem of op Schiphol. Ook het strand van Castricum is binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.

Our quietly located garden bungalow in Castricum offers space for a family with 1 child + baby or up to 3 adults + baby. Standard price is for 2 people; an extra adult is €30 per night; a baby (0-2 years) is €10 per night. All rooms are on the ground floor, and part of the garden (including furniture) is available to guests. The house is 5 km from the beach and 400 meters from the train station. Good connections to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Utrecht or Zandvoort.

With great enthusiasm, we have renovated our old mansion and restored it to its original state. On the bell floor, we have created an apartment that we now rent out. The apartment has been recently and carefully renovated and equipped with all comforts, entirely for private use with balcony.
