Weavers Cottage is a detached 17th century stone built barn at the head of the Ullswater valley in the central Lakes. The views are stunning with panoramic views of lakeland fells and over Brotherswater. The place is pet friendly and perfect for guests who love the outdoors. Classic walks straight from the door and secure storage available for mountain bikes and canoes. This is the old miller’s cottage of a 15th century mill, situated in secluded part of the Northern Lake District National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Stay in a unique one bedroom apartment , with its own private entrance, bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed. There is a downstairs lounge and en-suite. Situated on the corner of a river, surrounded by wildlife and wildflower meadows, only 5 minutes from the shores of Ullswater and 15 from the mountain ranges of Helvellyn and Blencathra.

Farrier's house is a renovated barn conversion that was previously a farm shop. The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. It is only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick. Dogs are more than welcome! We also rent out Black Mesa on AirBnB should you need another property for friends and family! We live just down the road and so if you have any questions or problems we can quickly help.

It is a peaceful, rural setting in striking distance of the Lake District, the Eden Valley and the Yorkshire Dales.
