The house is something very special, a place with soul! We enjoyed the time in this place very much and would like to come back. Susanna, as well as her husband, were delightful!

The hardest part was leaving, because everything was great. Uffe is absolutely fantastic! He was super helpful and always easy to reach. He rented me his daughter's bike for my entire 13 day stay at a great price. Having a bike made getting around much quicker and more flexible than relying on public transports, which are still only a ten minute walk away. Whenever I needed anything, he responded immediately with a solution. For example, when I needed a hairdryer, he sorted it out right away. The accommodation itself is stunning: spotless, tidy, and completely new. The location couldn't be better! The property borders a nature reserve, so in the evenings, I could "watch" roe deer from the window. The accommodation is also very convenient for those working or visiting SLU, as it's just 21 min away. Shops are just 10 min bike ride away, and the city center is a scenic 20 min ride along the river. I highly recommend stay here. I hope to stay here again soon!!

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

We stayed at Sara‘s place for a couple of nights and enjoyed our time there a lot. The house (and especially the kitchen) is well-equipped and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. There is a canoe that can be carried to the lake, the bikes are a bit rusty, the sauna works well and without problems. Thank you Sara for our time here!

The house was beautiful and Jenny is a great host. We felt very comfortable and the house is very tastefully decorated with loving details. The surroundings are great and you can walk to the small hamlet of Ulva to enjoy a cup of coffee or browse through one of the artisans. During our stay, there was also a flea market and a vintage car club meets there regularly. It is very easy to get to Uppsala. Jenny was always helpful and quick to reach. A very attentive hostess

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the fantastic little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the surrounding forest, there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you could need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s house. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The place is incredibly peaceful, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful walks through the forest just around the corner. The house itself is spotless, minimalist, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was exactly as described. Anna, the host, is truly a ray of sunshine; kind, welcoming, and always helpful. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Bjorn place is perfect for short/medium length stays in Uppsala. The apartment is nicely located with respect to public transportation and you can also easily walk to the city center. the flat is equipped, especially the kitchen.

I was visiting family in Uppsala and for me this was a real find. It is close to Uppsala (20-minute drive), has everything you need even for a longer stay and is good value for money. If I go back this will be at the top of my list. Thank you for the welcome and a lovely stay.

We are very satisfied with the accommodation. We were aware that it was a basement floor and that we therefore had no view, but you got used to it and it became cozy to eat at the kitchen table and sit around the TV. It was extremely well-equipped in both kitchen and bathroom and we lacked nothing. The bathroom was very fresh. It was a quiet area and the garden was surrounded by bushes and trees, completely out of sight from neighbors. We highly recommend this accommodation and wish Emily and her family good luck!

This apartment was perfect and Kerstin and Kjell were the perfect combination of helpful and respectful. I plan to stay a bit longer next year.

Spacious. Home-like. Comfortable. Convenient. New. Well equipped.

AnnaMaria's home is a little way outside of town but easy to reach by multiple modes of easy to manuever public transportation. I really enjoyed being in a place that felt like home and allowed me to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Another great aspect is the neighborhood. Her place is on a busy street but it doesn't feel like it at all. The community is laid back and just peaceful. I really enjoyed my time and am grateful AnnaMaria allowed me to stay in her place.

The location was perfect! It was a well equipped space. Comfortable. Some noise from the restaurant neighbors- but didn’t bother us- wasn’t noisy early or late. Neighborhood was excellent- tons of restaurants, bars, shops and sights- and easy access to public transport.

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Really nice and modern apartment in a quiet rural neighbourhood. Everything was as described and communication with both the hosts was great. They also have a farm from where you can buy organic honey, eggs, etc. We had a really nice stay and would gladly come back again. Thanks Tommy and Anne!

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place.
